Had a great dinner here for my husband’s birthday. Pricey but worth it. Gorgeous setting. Excellent service. Food was fantastic. We all had a great time, party of 5.

We have dined here many times. The worst thing I have had was really good, the best was absolutely amazing. This is a steak place and I have had mostly steaks, which were all amazing and on the lower end of their price range. The sides are scrumptious but could be a little larger for being a shareable size. Their bread is so tasty and gone in 30 seconds and every app we have had, especially the scallops, was so delicious. This is the perfect spot for your special occasion!

The atmosphere was beautiful, inviting and elegant. The staff was courteous, knowledgeable, attentive and professional. The food was exquisite and beautifully presented. They were out of the Kentucky Bourbon beer and Moscato. I look forward to coming back! Great location! Close to the big Cornelia Apple.

Community Brew & Tap continues to exceed expectations every single time we visit. The service is consistently amazing, and the staff are always attentive, welcoming, and professional. We were promptly seated as soon as our entire party arrived, and the maître d’ was incredibly warm and kind from the start.

Our server, Brian, was outstanding. He greeted us shortly after we sat down, thoroughly explained the menu and specials, and made us feel completely taken care of throughout the evening. He delivered the bread, and when I mentioned I’m not a fan of vinaigrette and asked for olive oil and herbs instead, he immediately offered a great alternative without hesitation. He checked on us regularly, kept refills coming, and even let us pick out our steak knives — which is always a fun touch.

A few months ago, I had the dry-aged Kansas City strip and loved it so much that my dad and I both ordered it again. My wife and mom had the wagyu baseball and mushroom risotto. We shared sides of Brussels sprouts, asparagus, and mashed potatoes. The food came out about 30 minutes after ordering — perfect timing for enjoying conversation.

The Kansas City strip was cooked flawlessly. I asked for the Diane sauce on the side, and it was phenomenal. I always ask for the Maldon salt they provide — a little truly goes a long way — but it enhances the richness of the steak beautifully and really elevates the flavor. The Brussels sprouts were exquisite. The asparagus was slightly overcooked and a bit salty, but everything else was exactly what we expected — exceptional.

My wife and I dine here several times a year because we truly enjoy the ambiance, the culinary craftsmanship, and the overall fine dining experience. I’ve seen reviews mentioning price, but there are several reasonably priced options on the menu, and you absolutely get what you pay for. You’re not just paying for a steak — you’re paying for skill, quality, and an experience that’s rare in this part of the state.

Nothing beats what you get at Community Brew & Tap. I’ve dined at many fine dining establishments over the years, and CB&T is hands down #1. The smoke flavor on their steaks is something most restaurants simply cannot replicate.

We didn’t order drinks this visit, but their cocktails are always incredible. On Valentine’s Day, I had the A5 Wagyu Old Fashioned, and it was delicate, smooth, and unforgettable. Linda took care of us that evening and was equally amazing.

Yes, you may walk out spending several hundred dollars — but if you appreciate the craft, detail, and care that goes into every plate and cocktail, you’ll understand the price point. My wife and I have no problem spending 3–4x what we might at another steakhouse because we know we’re getting something truly special.

If you want a true fine dining, culinary-focused experience in this area, Community Brew & Tap is simply unmatched.

We went tonight to celebrate our 5th anniversary and were unfortunately disappointed. When we walked in, we were greeted by the host and he congratulated us on our anniversary.

Our server, an older woman, brought our bread immediately which I liked, but it was cold to the touch. I didn’t think it was anything crazy but my husband really liked it. We ordered the fried green tomatoes and the artichoke dip as starters. We asked if there was any ranch or some sort of aioli to dip our tomatoes in and our server just replied with “no”. Not sure why she lied. Lol I read the menu shortly after to see a few dishes are served with garlic aioli. Luckily the tomatoes come with mustard sauce and it was great.

After finishing our tomatoes, my husband asked about our dip that never came out and she said she’d “check on it”, but we’re pretty sure she just forgot about it. We were a little annoyed about it until she came back and said they’d be paying for it. We thanked her and when she brought it out a few minutes later, she said again that they would be paying for it (they didn’t).

I got the salmon and my husband got the pork chop. We also got the onion rings to share. Both meals were just fine in my opinion. They weren’t very flavorful to me or worth their price. The onion rings, she did warn us, were just like donuts and tasted good but weren’t the texture we would hope for.

The service was ok. She didn’t refill our drinks unless we asked her, she lied about them having dips for some reason, and didn’t take off the artichoke dip after telling us twice she would. There’s no reason for us to come back to this place and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone at this price point and for this quality of service.

I honestly cannot say enough good stuff about this place. First off atmosphere, it is in the old bank and you can see the history of the building and the town from the second you walk in!!

Staff is amazing! The hostesses helped me surprise my husband and they did perfect, he was so surprised! Our server Shannon was AMAZING! She was very friendly and personable, taking the time to make us feel so important! She described dishes in detail to help us know what we wanted to order and she even suggested great pairings to go with everything!! Truly all of the staff worked well together to make it an unforgettable evening!

Now the food…. Seriously the best meal you may ever have. We got many things and sampled them around the table and it was so hard to pick a favorite! The brussel sprouts were the best I’ve ever had. The Mac and cheese was so tasty, the wagyu was literally melt in your mouth but I think my favorite was the bone in fillet with crab sauce, oh my goodness!!!!! The steak was cooked perfectly and the flavor and texture were unmatched! If you get the chance to go here, do yourself a favor… GO!!!!

Stop thinking about it and go here on your next dinner date! I had some of the seafood, corn, fried green tomatoes, bread rolls. They greatly exceeded my expectations of how those foods could be cooked. Everything we ate there was the best I’ve ever had. Also they have a great drink menu! The atmosphere and history of the building was very interesting. The staff were very kind and helpful as well. I will definitely be back and highly recommend here!

Beautiful old bank that’s been converted tastefully, toilets immaculate and lots of very thoughtful touches, wallpaper, fittings, even the paper they print the menus on is all top quality. The staff are very, very attentative and polite. We had really great service (Turner and MaryClaire, both fantastic!). It has a lovely waiting bar. Food really is top-notch and prices fair (starters about £10, mains around £25, to £60 for the top end steaks etc)… Side portions are huge, one side easily is enough for 2, possibly 3 persons, we’ve taken loads home!! ……. Well, worth a meal if you’re passing the area! …… we were 2 x UK tourists in the area. 5 stars!

Fantastic experience at Community Brew and Tap. My wife and I went for date night and everything was excellent. Started with fried green tomatoes and shrimp & lobster bisque—both outstanding. I had the ribeye and she had the filet, cooked perfectly. Sides were incredible: smoked cream corn, brûlée sweet potato, and smoked cheddar mac and cheese. Dessert was just as good—eggnog cheesecake with caramel drizzle and a classic crème brûlée. Great food, great atmosphere, and we’ll definitely be back!
