Not from the Eastlake area, but decided to try it because it came highly recommended. The hype was real. Had a great time, the atmosphere and food were good, and the service top notch. For me and mine, service goes a long way. At our visit, we had the pleasure of being served by a young lady named Amarilis. She was friendly, presentable, and very attentive. She answered all our questions in reference to the menu and made great recommendations. She did great by checking on our table periodically and offered refills without us having to ask.
My family and I will definitely return and request Amarilis as our waitress.

Hadn’t been to Pockets in a minute, my husband and I sat at the bar, the bar gal was doing everything but acknowledging guests.
It took several minutes before she offered a menu, she did see us but didn’t greet us. We got the drinks quick but another 10 min passed before she came to get our order. Yes I know there were other clients but it wasn’t packed at all.
We were about to walk out but the game was on so we stayed. Ordered our food, and it came out quick, we could see it sitting in the kitchen window, the kitchen rang the bell about 5 times and orders were piling up, the servers don’t help each other out with food orders.
We thought it was just us, but other people across the room were also looking for their own server to come get their order.
Service is slow, food is good and other than the games there’s no reason for us to come back.
We’re not there to get free things we’re paying customers and the service is not what it used to be.

I just moved here and have been coming here the past few weeks with a couple of friends and we came here yesterday. The vibe is chill, food is great, and service I think it just depends on who actually wants to work.
We haven’t had a bad waiter/waitress. The reason I come to post here, it is because of how many times in these three weeks we have had the “opportunity” to witness three employees going at it with each other. And it is always with the same waitress. I’m not giving their names out but Im sure a lot of you have seen it too Mind you there is only two male waiters here (yes we costumers notice) there is a tall guy and another with dark eyebrows, the waitress seems young and lively with tatts. Tell me why we go to relieve ourselves in the restroom and the tall one is with her going at it or god knows what, or in the parking lot in the car and always touching each other. Then wee see her with the bushy brow one touching her and kissing her or they take her to the “private” room they have. mind you I’m not just talking about yesterday it’s been like this for the past three weeks. There a kids here that we sometimes bring and what if your kid sees that or you can’t go to the restroom because they’re having the time of their lives at a bar. I don’t know what y’all are putting on but it has to stop. We even asked around and other waitresses and costumers say it’s always like that and not just with the waiters. We also have pictures and video proof. Management needs to do something about this because we come here to have a nice time not to see the employees frolicking around each other. And to you waitress the only thing I have to say is for you to respect yourself a little.

Our family spent a special birthday here. The food was great. Was having a great time with playing pool and good music as well. Amarilis, our waiter, did a great job of handling and serving our food. However, she spent most her time talking with the security at the front door. It was hard to flag her down when we needed refills or other drinks. When it was time to pay she put it in one while ticket but we asked for separate tabs. Mind you there was only 2 families. 9 people at most. We asked to separate the tabs and she said no and left us to separate it ourselves. We hard a hard time and had to write it down for her because she said so. We talked to briza which helped us alot on separating our ticket and dividing them one by one. Would have been a great experience if this was done at first without having to speak with the manager.

Crystal was AMAZING! We are truck drivers and we got a very affordable Uber here from the truck stops, we came here 2 days in a row because the food and service was awesome both days! If you are in the area definitely check this place out. This is our go to in El Paso from now on
