We were going thru town this past weekend and decided to stop here for lunch. We left disappointed in the food. Didn’t taste like authentic Mexican food at all. The white queso dip tasted like it was out of a can..nothing like any other Mexican restaurant we’ve ever been to. Even the chips were like the kind out of a bag. The food was bland and again like no other we’ve had. The only thing they have going for them is the service. Excellent waitstaff with excellent customer service.

First let me start with my family has been eating at all of the Poblanos restaurants for many years. The service is well above what standards should be, excellent, friendly. They can deliver on their menu, food and atmosphere as well. The one thing I had not tried was the cratering side of the business. Well Jose and his crew did NOT disappoint yet again! We had them cater my mom’s 80 first birthday celebration! It was absolutely phenomenal!!!! Jose delivered, set up and brought so much more than I expected. EVERYONE and I do mean everyone loved the food!! By middle of night towards the end we had only enough to put in one container to take home. He brings an absorbent amount of chips and the best salsa around!!
So do yourself a favor, needing a catered event, call Poblanos and talk with Jose. You will not be disappointed.

I ordered the lunch #10 with steak and shrimp. The food was perfect! Salsa is great. Limeade was fresh with lots of ice, just the way I like it!! I really wish we lived closer to this restaurant.

I was there last month, and I purchased the chile relleno, the presentation was good but there was a bad taste on the chile relleno, so I ask the server to replace it. She told me that all of them were the same. I think that they cooked them days befores. The server didn’t offer me to select something else from the menu, so I paid for the lemonade and left. I would not recommend this place.

The waitresses try, but are overwhelmed when I there . The food good but slow at coming, the chips are definitely not home made. Over all food is good but yiu can usually drive to texarkana and back before you get and eat here

I had the Chile rellenos , customized to your choice. Got mine stuffed with alambre (beef fajita, grilled onion, bell peppers, topped with poblano sauce, with side of rice and charro beans. Will definitely get this plate again, was full of tasty flavors. I should have taken a pic before, too late .
