Reviews
Waitress was very nice, spoken fluent English, checked with us about dietary restrictions and allergies and recommended options. All the options she recommended were delicious.
To top it off, the desert (Mango and rice pudding dessert) was yummy!
We visited twice, once around 4:30pm and another time around 7pm. No wait time at 4pm and almost an hour wait time around 7pm. Do it is best to reserve ahead of time.
Highly recommend it.
We shared the spring rolls to start, which were fresh and crispy. For mains, my husband ordered the green curry and it was excellent. Our server, Antonio, told us about the specials of the day that weren’t listed on the menu, one of which was Khao Soi. I was thrilled to hear this since it was my favourite dish when I was in Thailand, and it absolutely lived up to my memories. Deeply flavourful, comforting, and beautifully presented.
The service was outstanding from start to finish. Antonio was very friendly and made the experience feel warm and welcoming, and our conversations with him were genuinely fun. His ability to say “thank you” in an impressive number of languages was a great touch and added to the whole experience.
We’re spending several weeks in Playa del Carmen and will definitely be back. Khop khun ka, Antonio!
The restaurant is cozy, air-conditioned, and has a warm, welcoming vibe.
The staff was extremely kind and attentive, especially our waitress Iris, who was amazing, she patiently explained every dish, made sure we enjoyed every moment, and provided an outstanding level of service.
From pouring our drinks at the table to replacing napkins and sharing a lovely chat, everything felt personal and genuine.
For a moment, we honestly felt like we were in Thailand!
Highly recommended!
What really made the night exceptional was the service. Darinka was our server and she was fantastic! She took the time to recommend dishes and explain the menu, and everything she suggested was spot on. Friendly, attentive, and professional.
Great food, great prices, and outstanding service. We will definitely be coming back!
Food is delicious!!!
We always come here and will be back!! Must try!
The plates are so creative!
Even the decorative carrot with our & strawberry on our coconut flan was tasty. The meal was very affordable too ($2400 MXN for four including 1 appetizer, 2 desserts, and 20% tip).
If you’re looking for a tasty & affordable meal then be sure to stop by Po Thai while in PDC!
