Fantastic food, friendly and knowledgeable staff, fast service, and nice less noisy, cozy and air conditioned inside ambience.
Waitress was very nice, spoken fluent English, checked with us about dietary restrictions and allergies and recommended options. All the options she recommended were delicious.
To top it off, the desert (Mango and rice pudding dessert) was yummy!
We visited twice, once around 4:30pm and another time around 7pm. No wait time at 4pm and almost an hour wait time around 7pm. Do it is best to reserve ahead of time.
Highly recommend it.

My husband and I had an amazing dinner at Po Thai and it’s easily one of our favourite meals so far in Playa del Carmen.
We shared the spring rolls to start, which were fresh and crispy. For mains, my husband ordered the green curry and it was excellent. Our server, Antonio, told us about the specials of the day that weren’t listed on the menu, one of which was Khao Soi. I was thrilled to hear this since it was my favourite dish when I was in Thailand, and it absolutely lived up to my memories. Deeply flavourful, comforting, and beautifully presented.
The service was outstanding from start to finish. Antonio was very friendly and made the experience feel warm and welcoming, and our conversations with him were genuinely fun. His ability to say “thank you” in an impressive number of languages was a great touch and added to the whole experience.
We’re spending several weeks in Playa del Carmen and will definitely be back. Khop khun ka, Antonio!

We had an amazing experience at Po Thai! The food was incredible — super fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. The dumplings and the shrimp noodle dish were delicious and perfectly cooked.
What really made the night exceptional was the service. Darinka was our server and she was fantastic! She took the time to recommend dishes and explain the menu, and everything she suggested was spot on. Friendly, attentive, and professional.

Great experience at Po Thai! The servers were very friendly and welcoming, and the food was freshly made and absolutely delicious. You can really taste the quality and care that goes into each dish. The only small note is that the portions felt a bit on the smaller side—I was still a little hungry after—but the flavors and service more than made up for it. I’d definitely come back and try more items next time!

My husband and I walked by this restaurant on our way to go to Yum Yum. We hadn’t noticed it before and it was very busy. Once we were at the other restaurant, we were given menus and waited over 10 minutes and forgotten about. We got up and left and walked back to Po Thai and they had a table available. Antonio was our waiter and he was very attentive and personable as well as the hostess and waiters assistant. I ended up ordering one of the specials that he highly recommended and it was outstanding. I can’t say enough great things about this restaurant. If you’re looking for something other than Mexican food. This is an excellent choice.

Visited Po This with my partner while on vacation in Playa Del Carmen. We’re big lovers of Thai food and Po blew it out of the park for us. Excellent food and service, big shout out to Antonio who looked after us and gave some delicious recommendations. Definitely worth the visit!

Po Thai is amazing. We were offered a choice of indoor or outdoor seating, and chose a spot inside. Even at 7p it was quiet, something difficult to find in many other restaurants nearby. Iris made our experience special, she is so sweet!
Even the decorative carrot with our & strawberry on our coconut flan was tasty. The meal was very affordable too ($2400 MXN for four including 1 appetizer, 2 desserts, and 20% tip).
