Always great food and portion sizes. Only thing is if u like certain entree or side u have to make sure u go on that day. My favorite is the corn Mash potatoes Chicken fried chicken. My mom loves the carrot raisin salad and the fried okra. I feel like the food could use a little more flavor but other than that its great.

Just so you know, the biscuits are the size of hamburger buns as seen in the pic. Breakfast was good. Portions were big. The texas sized chicken fried steak was the size of a dinner plate for those who are curious. Overall, I’d definitely go back to try other things.

Comfort food at it finest. Right here in Pearland/ South Houston. Home cookin that brings back memories and this place is the perfect place to make new memories. The staff all seem like family and treat you the same, like family. Southern people will be used to this. Chicken fried steak and southern fried chicken, mashed taters lots of real good sides. Of course they have a diverse menu including incredible breakfasts, lunch specials, daily specials, appetizers, great burgers, seafood, nachos. All are high quality tasty and are presented as high end with huge portions. I don’t think they have customers who do not return unless they can’t because they live too far. We will be back. They are worth the trip if you’re not south side.

Great country fried steak! The mashed potatoes and broccoli-cheese casserole were also really good. The green beans were amazing. Can’t recommend this place enough for country cooking. Definitely better than the average place selling fried okra and country fried steak (nothing against the average place selling those things, either).

“Maria” was technically our “busser” per our so-called waitress who’s name I won’t mention, but she did everything with smile and had a servant’s heart. She checked our glasses and refilled them, brought extra lemons. I’m visiting from Florida and she went the extra mile to get a desert our waitress said they were out and whatyouknow…a few seconds later, it showed up right in front of my face piping hot! It was so good, we ordered 4 more. Thanks Maria the busser! You killed it chica!

Great service and food. We don’t have a Kelley’s on our side of town, and I sure wish we did. The food and service were great. Service was quick and attentive. It was over 100 degrees outside and that BIG glass of iced tea was wonderful. The shrimp sandwich was full of freshly fried big shrimp. Thanks, Kelley’s for a great early dinner. Come on over to the Southwest side of Houston.

The place was packed, good sign that the food and service are good. The food was good, the pancakes were off this time, they were kind of dry if that makes sense like not enough butter was used to make the batter, usually they are better. They also ran out of biscuits which was a shame bc they are very good. Overall, a very good place to visit and leave satisfied. Will return for sure
