We went on a very slow day. The food was fresh and the gumbo was actually good. It did seem just assembled and not a long merging of flavors. The burger was good but a bit over the top for my taste. I had the blue cheese burger and they had some kind of sweet almost jam on it which is not my thing. With out that sweetness it would be much better for my taste. The meat was good quality with a good flavor and the cook was good. I would go back and try a few more things just expect to spend a bit more that other solid lunch spots.

Got there just before the Saturday rush, but our server Katie was on top of things! The gator bites were a good start, and while my husband liked his shrimp po’boy, my root beer bbq sandwich was a taste that toook some getting used to. The drinks and desserts were delicious and were a great way to end the meal. Server Katie was attentive, speedy, and polite. We will definitely be back to try more of the extensive menu!

stopped for some gator bites and shrimp and grits on the way home. Great service wonderful atmosphere if I’m ever in Peoria again I will stop by here to try something new. They have interesting alcohol choices and a gambling room if you really want to let loose for the evening.

I never knew this place existed until my coworker brought me here today. I had the jambalaya, and let me tell you—ooh baby, it was pretty tasty! My compliments to the chef. I’ll definitely be back soon to try more dishes!

Jambalaya was fantastic! Worth coming back for. Gumbo was spicy and delicious! Definitely not for the weak of spice. Great amount of veggies for the amount of meat as well in both. Sauce was perfectly thick. Not your average bar food!

Me and my husband really enjoyed everything that we ate I highly recommend the cat fish fries and the shrimp devils eggs for a appetizers I had pasta very filling and the drinks were really good I highly recommend the lemon drop lavender martini. Definitely be coming back in the future

I’m a big fan. Sliders were dynamite! It was hard to choose what to get tho cause it all sounded good, hence three different sliders. The restaurant was clean and smelled yummy. Our waitress was great. I don’t come here often enough..
