Phenomenal food & amazing service. Everything was served fast, hot ; delicious. We started with the fried cheese ravioli & truffle fries. (I could eat this alone as a meal)!!!! As entrees we had the chicken with cheese & vinaigrette & i had the cheese sauce ravioli meal with bread. Being a small toan i wasnt expecting much; but they blew my mind & taste buds. Everything we ate was spectacular & well worth the price. I will absolutely come back to enjoy their cuisine every time I visit Saint Ignace.

We are from the downriver area and are camping in Mackinaw City. We spent the day in the UP and decided to stop for dinner before heading back to the camper. The food was so good and the service was fast! Which was great for us with a three year old and a 5 month old. My husband is gluten sensitive and he got the lettuce wraps and tomato bisque and said it was delicious! I got the ravioli and it was amazing! Food came out hot and fast and our server was great!! Would definitely recommend and would definitely come back!

We ate here twice on vacation because of how great the food is! Lots of drink options, the Prop Water is their signature frozen drink, highly recommend. The Pesto Chicken is amazing, also had their ribeye and it was cooked to perfection. If you’re in the area this place is wonderful and with the stop. The atmosphere was very laid back and just an easy place to relax.

We got the Whitefish BLT sandwiches. The bacon was awesome, thick sliced and seasoned, Whitefish was perfect, lettuce tomato and onion very fresh and thick cut. The pickled onion and tartar sauces were top notch as well. Paired with Cider Boy Peach and St Ambrose Mead this was a fantastic meal and view of the marina from the front rail of the deck on a beautiful day. Sometimes everything just comes together!

We have waited all year to come back to this place for their white fish. We’re full time rv travelers. Found this place when we were in the area. So happy we did. It did not disappoint. Last time it came with the garlic mash potatoes. This time with rice. But they let me substitute for the potatoes. We will for sure come back to this place when in the area.

Surprisingly great! Has the beach town vibes and good food. We got into St. Ignace towards the end of the day and needed something to eat. These guys were open until 10. The kitchen closes at 8 on weekdays and at 9 on weekends.

Food was unexpectedly good and fairly balanced. Prices were on the higher end, but I still think you get pretty good value. The local whitefish and pasta were standouts.

Right next to the water. There’s plenty of parking in the area but it tends to fill up quickly.

Restrooms are tiny but clean. Men’s and women’s are on opposite sides of the building.

Staff is incredibly friendly and upbeat. Well done!

Our family of five visited this restaurant for Saturday dinner. Our own waiter was wonderful and the food was mostly satisfying (Bayou Pasta) to delicious (Pesto Shrimp Bruchetta). However, we were returning to this restaurant—for the fifth time—for the Whitefish Dinner, which we have enjoyed on previous occasions. We were therefore disappointed when it arrived tasting mushy, soggy, even mealy, with an old-tasting crust—as if it had been cooked earlier in the day and sat before reheating.

Two others tasted the whitefish and agreed it was off, and we sent it back immediately (“This whitefish tastes bad to me, can I get something else?” / “Of course”). Thus when we received our check, we were surprised to find that we had been charged for both our replacement entree and full price for the Whitefish, with the dish’s price having been strangely increased from $27 to $38, followed by a $10 “discount”. This was later resolved with $10 off the bad whitefish (not eaten).

Ours was a large order, with appetizers, several entrees, and alcoholic drinks. There was no reason for such penny pinching, or for failing to communicate that we would be charged for the dish even when sending it back virtually untouched.

However, the most disappointing moment occurred when we questioned the charge and asked if they had tasted the whitefish that day, at which point certain members of the waitstaff were shockingly rude (“There’s nothing wrong with the fish” / “No, I’m not going to taste something off a customer’s plate”—as if that’s what was being suggested).

Additional word of caution: the restaurant charges an additional 4% “service fee” for using a credit card, a fact that is explained only by small print at the bottom of the menu. This too felt like a “gotcha”; we had cash on hand and, if we had been informed of this extra charge, would gladly have paid with it.

To summarize, sadly, this will likely be our last visit to the restaurant, as we felt we were treated poorly and rudely (particularly given our large order) and perhaps even deceptively (increase of the Whitefish price from $27 to $38 before applying a $10 “discount”). It was not the fact of the mischarge or even the whitefish, but rather the waitstaff’s dismissive and rude responses, that underlie our disappointment.

UPDATE: given the unprofessional response I received to my initial review, I have decreased it further on the basis of customer service, given it seems to be the owner who treated us so poorly. I have also screenshotted the owner’s responses for all to see.

Just moving to the area, first dinner. Server was the sweetest and we sat at the bar…. (Bartender was also kind) Friendly atmosphere. Food was delicious, I always say 5 shrimp cut in half, we had three on our pasta for $24. Not used to that 2hours south of here, but the taste was delicious.

Wow does this place pack a punch! We did not expect the amazing food coma we got from their delicious Fried Ravioli, Duck Wontons with Honey Sriracha sauce (fan-efffing-tastic), not to be outdone, the Lobster Chowder was the best I’ve had since visiting Boston 20 years ago. For the main course I went with the Bayou Pasta with chicken and shrimp, which was divine. My wife got her favorite, the Ribeye and was super stoked that it came with a butter melting on top, nice touch. All in all, we were looking for a place to drive (came from Lewiston, about 90 minutes away) and get something across the bridge at a restaurant we’ve never tried before, and man oh man did we hit the jackpot!!

We are in town on our boat and went in for an early dinner. Had the lobster bisque, brussel sprouts and soft shelled blue crab sandwich. Shared all and after having read the reviews we were not disappointed. Service was exceptional and the food was amazing. Talked to the owner on our way out. Just as nice as he could be. Don’t pass this place up. Atmosphere, view, food…well worth it?
