This food just melts in your mouth! I wokr up this morning craving more! We are from out of town and made a trip just to try the food. Definitely worth it! The inside is nice and open and the setup/decor is welcoming. The owner came over and introduced himself and asked how things were and gave us a little background on the food and establishment. We appreciated it! The only reason i didn’t give it 5 stars is because the rest of the staff was not very helpful nor pleasant, unfortunately. I’d like to think it was just an “off” day.. for all three of the ladies we encountered. That being saud, we will be coming in to eat every time we go through Longview!

Talk about a BURGER!!! The Monster Meathead burger will have your back if you are hungry and fill your stomach to the max! We left well satisfied and will be coming back very soon! One thing we added to this Monster was blue cheese and what a tasty combo with the Smokey BBQ flavors.

So good. I was missing Dave’s BBQ since I moved down here and I guess I found my replacement. The honey butter is delicious. Try the poutin fries it’s worth it! The meat was almost perfect. 5 more minutes in the smoker and it would’ve been fall off the bone. Will definitely be back.

OK, where to start. Let’s start with the good. The front end staff are very friendly and attentive. The chopped chicken on the salad was moist and flavorful. The beans were top notch, they could have used a little more spice and heat but that is a personal preference.
On the other side. The ribs were over cooked and a little pasty. My wife’s salad had very brown old lettuce in it, totally unacceptable.
By far the worst was the brisket, it was very over cooked and dry. The incompetence really shows when they do not even know how to cut a brisket. It came out more like pot roast than brisket, long and stringy. There was a nice smoke ring with no flavor.
I have eaten BBQ all over the country. I have had the best of most styles and know what it’s supposed to taste like. I have been to many competitions and taken classes from world champions. I have now had some of the worst in the country. Maybe the burgers are better but we won’t be back to find out. They have a nice system where you can pay online, too bad it doesn’t work. They get 2 stars only because of the front end help.

I’ve been to this place four times, each time hoping the previous time was some random off day for the staff. I was wrong and my 4th experience only amplified the poor quality of food, lack of personality by the staff and overall feel of emptiness.
Although this place has pool tables and a stage for live music and multiple dart boards, their other shortcomings far outweigh the novelty of bar games. The chef or some other management type has decided that this establishment needs not one but over five of its own signature BBQ sauces, which is quite an endeavor. Well this attempt has resulted in failure. One sauce being cherry this or mango that even a horseradish type sauce. All of the sauces lack flavor or depth.
Furthermore, the overall impression of Southern BBQ is just not alive in Longview Washington with this restaurant. The food is unremarkable, the fries are bland and tasteless, the pulled pork is underseasoned and the brisket was embarrassingly below expectations. The staff, namely Carla was unpleasant and should probably rethink her role in the restaurant industry. Even the bathrooms at this restaurant are dirty and tacky with urinals made from old beer kegs.
PNW Meat Heads, leave the BBQ to Austin, Memphis or St Louis. If you’re in Longview Washington and considering BBQ, skip this place. Your wallet and tastebuds will thank you.

Omg soooooo good! Had our car across the street getting worked on so we decided to walk over and grab lunch and let tell you service was amazing and welcoming. The menu had lots of choices I got the rodeo burger my husband got honey mustard chicken sandwich and it was all sooooo flippin good. We can’t wait to go back I think it might be my new favorite for Longview! Thank you guy and see you soon

Ate dinner and was very disappointed. Had to go to the bar each time we wanted order…bar was not busy. Brisket was more like a smoked roast beef and my chicken was mushy/watery. We have been a few times and this by far was the worst food and lack of service.

I’ve had BBQ in quite a few places in my travels, this was one of the better.
The pulled pork was so tender it damn near just melted in my mouth. It was well seasoned and a nice mild smoke to it that doesn’t over power the seasonings or the pork.
The brisket was awesome as well. Had a nice bark and a good thick smoke ring.
The rub was great, had a nice little kick of spice.
The sauces offered on the side are good. The peach BBQ sauce was tasty, it had a very unique flavor to it.
Beans were awesome as well. Good flavor and full of hot link pieces.
It was our first time there, we decided to try it out for our anniversary and it was worth it. We’ll be back as it’s one of few decent BBQ joints in western Washington.
