I’ve been eating from Plum my entire life. Pizzas, sandwiches, subs, pastas, dinner entrees. My father and I would often share a whole chicken parm sub. He also loved the meatball sub, their sicilian, and spaghetti with meat sauce. We even had it on what would be his last birthday, 12/18/24. He died of cancer last month and Plum pizza was the last meal he ever had, and we ate it together.

To get me out of a bind, I decided to go for pizza. We went there because we had tried them once at a children’s event in the park. I ordered by phone, a medium pizza, half margherita and half plain. Unfortunately, I ordered it wrong! And they made me 2 medium pizzas. Despite my mistake, they weren’t angry; they very kindly asked if I wanted both, and I said no, it was too much because only my kids would be eating. So they gave me the other pizza for free! What for someone might be a minor thing, for others is a huge blessing when you’re a busy mom of four. Besides, one pizza wouldn’t have been enough since they devoured them, and I even got to try three slices! Thank you so much, Plum Tomato. God bless you…

I went to get veg pizza slices as I like to have pizza slices often and keep trying different stores. This time I ended up going to Plum Tomato but it was 30 minutes before closure like around 9:30 Pm and it gets closed by 10:00PM .
I was told that they take last order by 9:45Pm and I ended up taking 2 pizza slices. It looked delicious but when I tried one slice was chewy and not soft. Its sides are very hard so it felt like I should not have taken this slice and not worth with amount paid tastewise.
Another slice was soft , which was veg slices, and better than previous one. However, taste was just fine comparative to other stores.
I would give store 3 stars based on its taste of slices. It was my first time here, I would try again next time and if it find it better , I would update my comments. Ambience was clean and good sitting arrangement.

Truly the best food. My husband is from Brooklyn, so he’s very particular about his pizza. Plum Tomato is the ONLY nearby location to us that even comes close to good, flavor-filled pizza. The staff is super friendly, and we know each other by name. It feels like an extended family. Their specialty pans are especially delicious. Definitely try them out of you’re in the area.

I’ve been coming here for over 5 years, and the food is always on point. No place in Rahway, Colonia, Linden, Westfield, or Clark touches this spot when it comes to pizza, either.
Huge shoutout to the owners, the cooks, the ladies up front who always take care of my order, and the delivery drivers who keep it all moving.
This place is a gem — family-run feel, consistent food, and real local pride.

I ordered on Saturday, & went in during night shift on Saturday. The girl on the register with brown hair & glasses is not fit at all for a customer service job. She had a rude & condescending attitude, even when my daughter was being very kind & trying to make conversation by asking simple questions & smiling at her. My daughter is autistic & suffers from depression, she has been recommended by her therapist to try to initiate conversations & interact socially more with girls her age, and this rude server got her crying all the way home. Unbelievable. We always come here during the afternoon and the girls are always so nice to us, but this girl had a nasty look on her face the whole time. I will not be coming back here & I recommend yall not to either.

Extensive menu with pizza (many varieties and 16 toppings including pineapple), salads, pasta, appetizers and even desserts. Extremely clean and pleasant eating area with plenty of bottled drinks for self-service. A fellow was even cleaning while I was there. Elaborate menus on 4 large flat-screens are rolling continuously. Had plain pizza. Was unspectacular and somewhat ordinary (see photo). Pizza prices higher than average. Might try other items upon return.

OK I gave them one last try because the last time they messed up my order I took it back (inconvieanence for me) they rectified the problem. My wife came home with a large pie burnt hard as a rock and it was very disappointing. Nothing worst than being hungry for a slice of pizza and having to toss it in the trash. Very sad….
