Been Eating here for 18-20 years from teenage years to now I’m my mid 30s.
It is 1/1 hands down best around. I’ve tried all the food trucks and all the Hawaiian spots and this one is top tier. From the chicken/spam musubi to Uncle biggie or the bradduh, it’s my go to Birthday meal and I gotta have it at least 3x a month . Best Mac around the freshly prepared sauces and the BBQ beef is wild. This family owned and operated spot is where you want to experience every meal you can… Annnd on my way there here shortly for another birthday meal right now.

This is the spot when you’re looking for a affordable Hawaiian style plate lunch. Friendly service, easy to read menu, ample seating, and local comfort food. It’s that simple! So, if you’re ever in the area, give this place a try. And as always, don’t forget to support small business! Service✅Food✅Atmosphere✅

If flavor had a throne, Hawaiian Kine BBQ would be the kingdom—and the Chicken Katsu? The GOAT knight guarding it. I pull up like a loyal subject asking for their Opihi Man with triple rice, and every time, they deliver like it’s a royal decree. If you haven’t been knighted by this place yet, what are you even doing?

Best Hawaiian food in town. I’ve been coming here for years now. I could eat this food all week. Service is fast. Staff is very friendly. Restaurant is always very clean. I enjoy the Hawaiian music playing very relaxing. You can call head and order your food to go . I love their Hawaiian mac I always order an extra side. My favorite dish is the Waikiki Mix.

This is a traditional Hawaiian plate lunch restaurant. The service was rather quick and there was ample seating. The food, however, was pretty ordinary when compared to other Hawaiian establishments. Some have said the mac salad was amazing. I found nothing extraordinary about it. The kalua pork to be less flavorful than usual, as well as my portion was full of fat chunks, and the chicken katsu to be dry. The BBQ chicken was ok. Prices were also slightly higher than normal.

This was my first time trying this place and it did not disappoint. The cashier was nice and very efficient. The food was delicious and came out fast. It was clean and not too crowded inside. I will be returning

Love this place. It is my go to for when I don’t want to make dinner. My favorite is the short ribs! The kids live the orange chicken and Catsu. Yumm.

Ordered the Makawao special. Food is okay but price is too much. Is this food worth $18.25 to you? If so, come on down. Just my opinion.

The meat is well cooked, but BORING. the pulled pork is flavorless and dull, and doesn’t even have a spicy version. It REQUIRES added sauce to be enjoyable at all. The limited menu choice really put me off. How do they not have spicy pulled pork?
