What a Great Place!
I loved my Italian Nachos, and was So impressed to see something so Unique on the menu! I got the Balsamic on the side, as I was unsure I would like it….but it was Amazing! Go for it!

This place was a lucky fine… Otherwise, there really was not much choice in the city. At first glance, it is quite offputting. That is, the sign out front looks like a sign for a business that went under 20 years ago, and the building itself looks a bit abandoned. Once you go in, however, it is an expensive small town restaurant… All the clientele knows the wait staff by first name, it would appear. The place really is quite pleasant.
The food was solid, and made by hand quite clearly. All of us had the sirloin steak special… The steaks were tender and tasty, and the baked potato was done to the ideal point. In fact, it was quite a good meal, especially after a long day without one.

Not too impressed. I went with a large storm chasing group (15 people), and I realize it can be a challenge to serve a group that big. However, our server kept forgetting who ordered which dishes and drinks. She asked for some of our names but didn’t ask for others’ names, which led to some confusion.
As for the meal, I ordered steak, seasoned fries, and mashed potatoes with gravy. The fries were excellent. The mashed potatoes were pretty good, but portions were small. And the medium rare steak I ordered tasted more like medium.
It wasn’t a bad meal by any means, but it could have been better.

Our waitress was very prompt with any needs, and made sure our order arrived timely as well. We also placed orders to go for others, and they made sure the order was ready and warm when we left, and dining in.

I would just like to say I’ve frequented this establishment on quite a few occasions.
Pros- sometimes the food is good..sometimes
Cons- the waitresses could have a bit more cheerful expression in their faces and voices when serving customers
A steak that has been seared on both sides is NOT medium rare, it’s raw.
I’ve never had an issue with the takeout service of fried food until tonight. Asked for a couple sides to go. And they through the fried sides in the to go box while it was freshly out the fryer, hence burning through the styrofoam. Over half of one of the sides had styrofoam stuck to them.
Pretty much this place is a hit or a miss.
Don’t even get me started on some of the “specials” they have ..
in conclusion – for a small town restaurant it’s pretty mid.

Two of us had the cheese burger. I had the Saturday burger special. Special has grilled onions, a special sauce (yummy) and a cheese stick. I also got the curly fries which were good. Nice wait staff. Excellent service. Plum Thickett Inn is a Kiowa hidden gem.

The service was good but the older Waiters used her hands for the salad bar no gloves! The food wasn’t good the gravy was sweet and the steak was bland wasn’t worth 27$
