This is THE upscale place for a very cool upscale wine bar experience. The wine list and wine cellar are spectacular! The bar is elegant Cowboy ambiance with nice beer options. Food all looked great but we only had the Ploughman meat and cheese board. It was a few bites of 3 cheese options and 3 meat tasty morsels. A but small for two, but honestly just the right size for a pre dinner or late night snack. Outside patio was very nice. Jadyn, our server, was attentive and friendly! Definitely wi be back !

Plonk Wine in Bozeman, Montana was the perfect moody-lit atmosphere to photograph recent engagement portraits of my photography clients. We chose Plonk, their favorite wine bar, as the setting where we could showcase the warmth of their relationship and the love of dressing up for a night out on the town. The staff were gracious and delivered the ultimate hospitality. With a glass of wine in hand, they let us hangout and explore the venue before their busy hours began. It made a big impact on my clients and we had a lovely time. At the end, we didn’t want to leave. There was so much to see and explore there both indoors and outdoors. Many thanks to the team at Plonk Bozeman for helping me create a special experience our mutual clients! I can’t wait to go back for their delicious G.F.C cocktail!

My recent visit to Plonk in Bozeman left me deeply dissatisfied with the restaurant’s service and overall experience. As a new resident in town with a four-month-old baby, I was looking forward to enjoying the local dining scene. However, my encounters with Plonk on two consecutive days were completely different.

I loved Plonk! Delicious food and drinks. The back patio was so nice to sit on in the cool evening. The server was great and offered good recommendations.

3-5 Happy hour. GFC, Mexican sweater $2 off regular price. Good cocktails. But you should order the Hurricanes that are not on the menu. The bar tenders make those really well! The size of the drink has reduced and the glass has changed since when I had them last (10 years back). But the recipe is still great! They use 151° Bacardi.

Well done! I tried all three vegan options plus the vegetarian cheesecake and loved them all. Truly inspired. It was such a nice treat to get to return after all these years and find those favorites still on the menu.

Good food. Cheaper cocktails than other places on the strip, and delicious. Recommend

In my 14th year living in Bozeman after moving here from Atlanta in 2009, PLONK continues to set a very unique bar: It’s simultaneously the most metropolitan restaurant and night spot in Bozeman yet it’s not the least bit pretentious. Presumably this is a result of great leadership setting the tone for his/her staff, and tonight that came in the form of the warm and engaging Restaurant Manager, Sam Krutsch. For dinner, server Olivia was lovely and tentative while I enjoyed the (flipping amazing) evening special – seared Red Snapper followed by the (incredible) Dark Chocolate Cheesecake for dessert.

We came here two nights in a row for after dinner drinks. The wine and cocktail lists are outstanding, as was the service. The first night we were there, they were so busy….I’ve never seen a server hustle that hard with a smile on her face the whole time. I had the gin and juice followed by the coconut Rickie, and both were amazing. I can’t recall what drinks my fiance had, but he enjoyed them too. Night #2 we came back for wine, of which our selections were also very good. I can’t speak for the food, but absolutely recommend the beverages. The space is alsoassice and very cool.

5 stars because of my main dish and the service. 4.5 stars for the appetizer and cocktail. The meal itself was delightful. I asked for my steak to be medium rare and it actually was! The warm olive appetizer was just ok. The pickled vegetables were overly salty, but otherwise ok. The cocktail (Mexican sweater) was a bit too sweet for my taste. The service was on point and my server had wonderful wine recommendations. Will be back!
