Nice place to hang. Large menu, great value and deals. The staff was super friendly. Love the building itself. The wings were delicious, the pizza was average. My family’s sandwiches were well received. We’ll definitely go back when we’re in the area.

A quaint little find in the heart of Shelby. My husband and I went there for a lunch date. Loved the anesthetics, waitres was sweet but very knowledgeable. The Gambino Pizza was top notch. The pricing was not bad either.

The name says “wood fired” however it looked like just a “brick oven” to me. I did not see or smell wood burning nor was there any wood smoked taste to the pizza. Should be called “pleasant city brick oven pizza.” Maybe I’m wrong and did not see the correct oven. That being said, the pizza was still very good! Service was friendly and fast and restaurant itself had a really cool vibe. I’d definitely go back again and recommend it.

I ordered a Club sandwich with fries but I told them that I only wanted Mustard, Onions, American cheese and the meats that comes with it. But when I made it home I realize they put mayo and tomatoes on my sandwich after I told them plainly make sure it doesn’t have mayo and tomatoes which I am allergic too. Yall need to do better.

Quaint restaurant located in downtown Shelby in the Central Shelby National Historic District. Great variety of menu items and beverage choices (beer, wine, well drinks, soft drinks). Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating options for small groups or large parties. Bar seating is also available. Warm, friendly staff. Delicious food!

Ordered a pizza to-go. I did the create your own. Absolutely love it. Crust is perfect. Good amount of toppings. They had a good selection on the menu. Will be eating here again when I am in town.

We love PCWG & it’s typically where we eat when near Shelby! This trip was the first time we’ve brought our dog, she loved it too.
The food & service are consistently good. The prices are fair for the portions.
The only suggestion I have is some fly trap for outside as those buggers were persistently after our food – but who can blame them!?
I love the flight option for the drinks. We love cider and it’s nice to be able to split a flight and have two good portions of the two ciders they offer (Bold Rock & a seasonal Cider Boys).
I never go without the Pesto Bread Sticks. This is the perfect food in my opinion. Sweet, savory, dipped in spicy, cool, & creamy! Your tastebuds get all the zones engaged.
I have never had something disappointing, even the kids mac and cheese was great.
The pizzas are a nice personal size, the fries are crispy & seasoned, the sandwiches are fabulous, the salads are fresh.
When I was in the hospital well before my first child’s due date ( 18 years ago) they had a cream of mushroom & bacon soup that I loved. It wasn’t on the menu, but they made it special when my husband called!

Great pizza selection. Great salads. Try the strawberry and spinach salad with fried chicken. Comes with house made strawberry vinaigrette- insanely good! Fun to sit at the bar and have a cocktail with lots of friendly locals. Crystal and Chloe are pro bartenders and do an awesome job.

I always get the chicken bacon ranch pizza. It’s one of my favorite things on their menu. Honestly, I’ve had a variety of things from their menu and everything tastes quite amazing. From the pastas to the pizzas!

The Mac and cheese pizza was amazing! We ordered one other pizza that was pretty good. The chicken Alfredo was lacking. We also got the dessert pizza. It was good but way too much chocolate, so if that your thing definitely try it! We will be back to get pizzas! I would have given 5 stars if we hadn’t ordered the Alfredo and just had another pizza.
