As a family-owned and operated sushi restaurant, Plaza Sushi Masonville brings more than just delicious sushi to the table. We opened our first location in 2020 and have been growing ever since, introducing our fourth location to showcase authentic sushi, Japanese ramen, cocktails, and highballs. I love all of the Plaza Sushi locations in London and how each of them have slightly different menus. I find myself coming to this location most often out of convenience, but the staff are kind, the food is DELICIOUS, and the space is inviting and clean. 10/10 recommend for casual, solo, or romantic dining.

It’s my second time coming to this restaurant, and I have to say that the atmosphere is really clean and modern. It’s the kind of place that works just as well for a causal dinner as it does for a special night out. The food is the real star! The sashimi is really fresh and each piece of sushi is beautifully presented. The service is friendly and fast without feeling rushed, the staffs are knowledgeable about their products and are happy to recommend if you’re not sure what to order. Overall, amazing food and great services!

My partner ordered the deluxe maki plate for about $25, and when it arrived, it was so much food that we wondered if he accidentally ordered the one that was over $50! But no! Just an amazing amount of beautiful food.
I had the miso ramen, which can be vegetarian (it does come with an egg, so if you don’t eat egg you could ask to have it without that). Once again, a very large serving of high quality delicious food.
The cheese wontons as an appetizer were also SO good!

I had a very uncomfortable and upsetting experience at this restaurant.
When we walked in, we politely asked if a bigger table was available. The staff said no because it was busy on Friday, which we completely understood, so we sat down.
However, when we tried to order, the server ignored us. I spoke to him three times and he stood next to us pretending not to hear. He rolled his eyes and showed a very rude attitude. We were simply trying to place an order, but he refused to help us.
We asked politely if we could order, but he continued to ignore us and acted in a dismissive way. We felt extremely uncomfortable.
When we decided to leave and asked why he treated us like this, he said something like “you are absolutely Chinese because you guys acting…”. After that, he went to the back and used offensive Korean language. When I asked why he was speaking like that, he aggressively told us to get out while waving the menu.
Two female customers should never feel intimidated just for trying to order food.
Very disappointing experience. We will never return.

When it comes to sushi in London, I have to say, this place takes the crown! The quality is unmatched, with incredibly fresh and mouthwatering selections that always leave me craving more. Visited on a Monday for a friend’s birthday lunch. Happy to know plaza opened up an uptown location as parking downtown has always been a struggle for me. This location has the same delicious ramen and the way too many rolls choices as the downtown location. The bonus is having a good looking server who can speak 3+ different languages – totally impressed. We will for sure be back for more delicious food!

The restaurant’s atmosphere was clean and modern, making it a comfortable place to enjoy a meal. The staff were very friendly, and the service was quick and efficient.
