The staff is so friendly and treat you like you’re a part of their family. The owners are so kind and really take pride in the business and their food quality. I have eaten here since their day one and have never had anything that wasn’t delicious. It’s hard to pick a fave but their enchiladas suizas is the best I’ve had in NYC. Get a weekend special like pozole or menudo. So delicious and comforing.! And their birria combo is still the best in the neighborhood and still my favorite in NYC. If you want some serious protein to share, or not, get the molcajete! You will not be disappointed! Cocktails are wine based and I always get the maracuya margarita. If I am wanting a dessert I almost always get a paleta to take with me to go. Go here. It is hands down the best in Bushwick and any of the neighboring hoods.

As a longtime fan of this place, they consistently impress me with the quality of food and service. Incredible fish tacos and Birria. It seems they’ve recently expanded their menu to include more house specialities. Plenty of seating and the homemade paletas :0 !

Cute, spacious Mexican restaurant. They have karaoke , amazing birria tacos and authentic paletas (ice cream bars). I could see this being a wonderful event space to hold a party or large group

An absolute joy to have in the neighborhood. The owners are so kind and have great food and my favorite are the tortas. I always come back for the birria torta and a little treat from their wide assortment of chips/candy/drinks/sauces. They even have popsicles in the summer. They’re generous with the sides and toppings and have your order ready quickly. 10/10 would recommend!

Absolutely fresh and delicious Mexican cuisine. Finish off with homemade ice cream pops or a chocobanana pop.

Some of the best tacos and tortas I’ve had in New York, with very friendly and attentive service. Really nicely presented as well. And make sure to try the homemade paletas from the fridges in the front. So beautiful and delicious! Highly recommend

I come here almost every week and I’m kind of obsessed with it. The decor is wildly eccentric — there’s an ice cream shop setup that never seems to be active, these indoor-patio-type structures, and a whole bar world in the back I’ve still never explored. You even pay at what looks like a candy-shop counter. It’s just fantastic.

It’s also almost always empty, which I truly don’t understand, because the food is great. The menu is mostly classic Mexican fare, but nearly every dish I’ve tried has some unique little twist that shows they’re really putting in the work.

I’ve gotten pretty enamored with this place. Highly recommend checking it out.
