This was our first time here and it was amazing.
The service was friendly, helpful and meals were served fast.
Portions were big, price was good, and the food was delicious and authentic.
The margaritas were delicious too!

Party of 6, from teenage to Octogenarian in our party. Tableside guacamole for $12 was amazing, and everyone dug-in. One margarita was ordered, was $17+ and had zero noticeable tequila flavor…could definitely be better. Beef tacos were fresh, and shells crispy, a great choice. 4 people ordered Burritos of various selections, and everyone was satisfied. The Camerons de Cancun was also a hit with that diner. One negative – the mariachi band was always so close and so loud that any conversation was impossible, great music and ability but so damn loud I was holding my ears instead of eating my food….

Fantastic Mexican food in Sarasota! Generous portions, delicious flavours, and beautifully prepared dishes. The meat was perfectly cooked, the shrimp were amazing, and the enchiladas were outstanding. Friendly service, great atmosphere, and we’ll definitely be back!

Had dinner with a good friend of mine. We sat at the bar and ordered. The bartender was great. He was very quick to take care of us and our dinner came out very fast. We ordered Bistec Picado En Salsa Verde and Chori Pollo. Both were delicious!

Authentic Mexican food! There’s other restaurants around here that advertise as Mexican but they’re not the real deal, this place is. Decor is well thought out (photo opportunity!) and it’s very spacious. Great music as well. They do loud birthday celebrations so something to keep in mind if taking babies but other than that a nice, lively atmosphere. There’s a big selection of drinks, you could try a different one every time. Make sure to try the queso fundido with your chips. We’ve been coming to Siesta Key for years and hadn’t found this place but now we’ll be sure to come back.

A+. This is the best Mexican restaurant in Sarasota. My wife and I typically split the Molcajete, fajitas, and sometimes order the aguachiles verdes (shrimp).
I recall even during the hurricane and power outage this team served the community by staying open and providing much needed distraction and good food for the residents here while many other businesses were closed.
They always are helping people celebrate and show a lot of enthusiasm for birthdays and additionally there is a mariachi band that comes out twice a week.

This restaurant needs to be a destination if you’re in the area. Authentic Mexican food mariachi band guacamole cart I’ll even ask for in a Mexican restaurant. Family of four out of a variety of things all delicious.

Atmosphere was great w cook decorations, lights, and all that. Outside looks kinda drab in comparison. We waited a good 5-10 mins before being approached by the waiter, though. He was kind, but we seemed to be very much on the back burner w regards to when we got things we asked for like a box or the check, but maybe that was a staffing issue? The food looked good, but tasted surprisingly bland. We wanted to try somewhere new to us to bring family for a birthday coming up, because they love enchiladas, but it looks like we will go back to where we know the food is just more flavorful. Really cool atmosphere for drinks or a weekend outing with friends, but the food was sadly unimpressive. We ordered the street corn (in a bowl, not on the cob), enchiladas supremas, and chicken chimichanga. 10/10 atmosphere, though.
