We visited on a Tuesday night around 9 PM, about an hour before closing. I completely understand that coming in later isn’t always ideal and that staff are ready to wrap up their shifts – so I want to start by saying our server was wonderful. He was kind, attentive, and provided great service. I really wish I had gotten his name because he did a great job.
When you first walk into the restaurant, there’s a board listing daily drink specials. Tuesday’s special clearly says “House Margarita $6.25” (I’ve attached a photo). There were no time restrictions listed on the board.
We ordered house margaritas specifically because they were advertised as the Tuesday special. The food was excellent as always – we’ve always enjoyed the quality here.
However, when we received the bill, the margaritas were not charged at the $6.25 price. We asked our server, and he said he wasn’t aware of the special but would check with his manager. He came back and explained that the manager said the special only runs from 11 AM–8 PM. The restaurant is open until 10 PM, and there was nothing posted on the board indicating a time limit.
I understand businesses have time restrictions for specials – that’s completely fair. What was disappointing was that it wasn’t communicated anywhere, and even the server didn’t know. We honestly only ordered the margaritas because they were listed as the Tuesday special, so finding out afterward felt a little misleading and, unfortunately, like we were taken advantage of.
We’re not trying to be difficult – just hoping they can make the time limits clearer on the board so this doesn’t happen to other guests. The food and service were great; the communication about specials just needs improvement.

Everytime I visit Venice I swing in here for dinner. Its super delicious. Ive tried everything atleast twice and you cant go wrong. Even the guac is bomb. Tell them Pete sent you.

Visited here for the first time today for a girls lunch. Have somehow missed after living in Venice for 2 years. Had the 1/2 chimi lunch special. It was exactly what I was hoping for. Crispy but not dry. Service was great too. Love the atmosphere – fun little place. Will for sure visit again!

We are Mexican and were at bit skeptical about this place being legit due to its location. We were soooo wrong. The food was DELICIOUS. the aguachiles de camarones and pulpo were my favorite. I think about them all the time. My husband got the molcajete that he loved and I got the 3 amigo platter. The portions are amazing, I had enough for the next day. Chips and salsa complementary and the drinks were good. I cannot wait to come back. Worth the 2ish hour drive from fort Lauderdale although i have to say it definitely is a bit on the expensive side.

The Atmosphere was electric, you just felt like you had to be there upon walking in. The decor was moden Mexican if that makes sense and tastefully tactful! There was plenty of seating which was packed from the moment we arrived until well after we left.

Oh man the food was so good. The guacamole made fresh right by your table was fantastic. I ordered “the three amigos” and it was delicious, all three things in this dish had their own unique flavors. The margaritas are big and pretty strong. Service was very fast, all our orders were correct even though we made some custom orders. Highly recommended, I would definitely eat there again and again.

We have a favorite local Mexican restaurant, but decided to try something new last night. We chose this restaurant based on its Google reviews
I would have given this restaurant 5 stars, but the hostess who “greeted us” was so surly we almost left upon arrival.
She made no eye contact, did not smile, and initially continued looking at notes in front of her while we stood there waiting. It was around 4:30 so the restaurant was fairly empty and there was no one waiting behind us. She walked us to our seat, said nothing and walked away. I won’t mention her name because I’m positive the management must know there are issues with this hostess. I hope she won’t be there when we return because after our delicious meal last night, we would like to return.
Once Leo, our friendly and professional waiter arrived, everything was great. He promptly brought water and drinks and left us with the menus to review.
By the way, there is a special cocktail every day and on Saturdays there is a monster margarita special. We weren’t sure what the ingredients were, but we did not know that “monster“ referred to the massive size! We could have split one, but it was delicious even though we weren’t able to finish them.
Once Leo dropped off chips and salsa and the menus, Felipe came by with a tableside, guacamole cart. He proceeded to peel and chop fresh avocados, onion, cilantro, squeeze fresh lime juice, and add a little spicy jalapeño at our request. He left us with a huge bowl of delicious fresh guacamole. It was a very big size serving for 11.95 and we were really happy that we ordered it.
We then ordered Chili Relleno, chicken, enchiladas, and housemade refried beans. Everything was delicious and the portions were huge. We barely ate half of it.
The great food and amazing service turned everything around for us and we are now eager to return.
Hopefully there will be a happy hostess next time!

Yum; I love the chimichangas here! They are just the right size and the beef is shredded. For a party of 9 the service was pretty quick and the staff was accommodating to dietary restrictions. The patio is a great place to sit as the sun is going down to enjoy the warmth and breeze.

Absolutely a wonderful experience! The food was amazing. Our server, Yahaira, was fabulous. The table side guacamole was delicious, and my tacos had so much flavor. The “Torre De Mariscos” was so unbelievable that I don’t even have words! I highly recommend this place!
