We went in tonight after I had read positive reviews. We were not disappointed! The chips and salsa weren’t overly spicy, and to my surprise, a gentleman with a cart appeared and made us fresh guacamole! We ordered carne asada and the meat was so flavorful and tender!! I don’t know how but I cleaned my plate and had no room for deep fried ice cream. You can bet I’ll be going back just to try it! Shout out to our waiter Omar! You were so sweet and attentive, thank you for a memorable experience! We will see you soon!

Plaza Azteca in Missoula is an absolute gem! It’s a pleasure to eat here every single time—the food, vibes, and service are always on point. Erick makes the BEST drinks in town, hands down. You HAVE to order the fresh table-side guacamole—it’s perfection. The birria ramen is one of my all-time favorites, and when I bring a group of friends, we share the molcajete Oaxaca… you won’t be disappointed!

This restaurant has the best service! The staff is kind and very knowledgeable regarding drinks and food. The cheese enchiladas are to die for!! The drinks are delicious and amazing, also very generous sizes to the margaritas.
My husband says that the Philly Steak Burrito is the best he’s ever had. He also credits the warm chips, excellent queso fresco, and the just right salsa.

I’d heard mixed reviews on this place from friends, so naturally, we decided that we had to go try it for ourselves! Our first thoughts when we walked in were wow, this place is super busy, must be a good sign!
Our waiter was super prompt with chips and salsa, and stayed on top of refilling those for the evening. Our water cups were also never left empty! So many places miss the “service” aspect of restaurants but this place nailed it. We ordered the tableside guac and enjoyed watching it made at our table, and it was delicious to boot! Our margaritas were huge and tasty as well.
I would give our appetizers and drink rating a 5/5 stars. However, our meals themselves were more like a 3/5. I ordered the Al Pastor Quesadilla, which while good, mostly tasted like cheese and not al pastor. Next time I would ask for more al pastor sauce or less cheese. My partner ordered the vegetarian enchiladas, which did not come with red sauce on them, and were pretty small and not very filling.
Overall, we give this place 4/5 stars and will definitely return for the appetizers and drinks! Next time we’re going to try the tacos and hopefully those will have more of the Mexican flavors that we love.

This is hands down the best meal I’ve had in a long time. My friends and I each tried a different margarita and each one was phenomenal. They also have table side freshly made guac???? Hello? 15/10 absolutely blown away. Service was dialed in to a T and the decor is lovely, but the food and drinks are the real star.

My husband and I had a late lunch/early dinner on a weekday and it was excellent! Some of the best Mexican food we’ve had as it was tasty and authentic!
We were seated and our orders taken quickly. The appetizer came out fast and the general meal was quick to be done as well piping hot so we knew it hadn’t been sitting in the back for a while.
Some of the prices seemed high but for the amount and quality of the food I feel like the price is justified and wasn’t bothered spending what we did. The portions were large as we each took a box home of leftovers and the food itself was amazing! I would highly recommend this place!

My new favorite place in town. Food is delicious. Service is excellent. Prices are reasonable. They make the best guacamole I’ve ever had at our table, and the people I was with said the margaritas were top notch. My ONLY complaint is that they use Styrofoam for takeout boxes. Please switch to something less environmentally destructive!!
