“Plaza Azteca in Plymouth Meeting definitely earns a five-star review from us. We stopped by around 5:30 PM, and the vibe was perfect—cozy and inviting. We enjoyed their delicious tableside guac and a rich, flavorful chicken soup to start. For the main course, we had the Azteca Salad and the La Flaca Chopped Salad—both super hearty and filling. And of course, we both had margaritas, which were just perfect. Overall, it’s a fantastic place for a great meal and a great drink before heading into the city. Highly recommend!

We’ve been going for years. However i haven’t had the chance to go until recently. It’s probably been a couple years since my last visit.. i went earlier this December and food is still good. Prices still reasonable. I thought it was cute seeing them do the birthday celebrations. My only concern is the unsolicited photo taking. We were mid way into our meals when a guy came by to take a photo. I had no idea why. I had food in my mouth and he just kept signaling for us to hold our water glasses up for a photo. It was just super awkward. Then he came back and tried to sell us a $20 photo. I just never experienced that here before. I would rather you ask ppl up front if they are interested in buying a photo versus randomly taking their photo and then trying to sell them the photo. Like you don’t even know who we are dining with. I don’t need a photo to celebrate a random dinner night with a friend. Then they had someone else come around again asking if we wanted to buy the photo a second time. At that point i was ready to go. I highly recommend they stop doing that.

Plaza Azteca is easily one of my favorite Mexican restaurants. The staff is always incredibly friendly, the service is consistently great, and the food never disappoints. Everything I’ve tried has been amazing, and the atmosphere is always welcoming. I’ve been here multiple times and have never had a bad experience. If you’re looking for delicious food and top-notch service, this place is absolutely worth it!

One of the best Mexican restaurant that I’ve ever been to. The atmosphere is super nice! The service and other staff members were great! The food was absolutely amazing. They have a huge menu with lots of different categories. You can order anything from the traditional dishes to cool twist like Mexican fried rice or the big pineapple filled with lots of chicken, steak, shrimp and melted cheese.
Overall it was great! I would definitely recommend this for any parties or large events.

My wife, daughter and I had lunch here yesterday. The food and service was good. The entree sizes were large where we took home our leftovers. We really liked the atmosphere of the restaurant as well.

Quality authentic Mexican food at a reasonable price ($20-30). Decent, fresh, large portions that won’t leave you wanting.
I always order the fajita. Comes with the complimentary rice and beans.
Ordering is snappy and wait staff friendly. No issues.
Locations around the Philly area for easy convenience.

Oh how I love me some Plaza Azteca. I moved away from this location but love to stop by when I’m in the area. The place was decked out with holiday cheer and decorations which I appreciate! The prices are fair and they will customize any item you like. For me I got a tortilla less burrito San Jose with no rice. My friend got the fajitas and asked for their spiciest salsa which was habanero based. Meals came out sizzling hot exactly as ordered. Tasted like perfection. We also enjoyed the free chips and salsa along with a side of their mystrey white salsa! I can’t identify the ingredients but I look forward to it every time. I’d love to go back with a group of 8 to sit at their special group table! Thank you again for another great meal!
