Came here for lunch not longer after 11am. Restaurant was very quiet. I sat at the bar. Service was very quick and food was really good. Plenty of parking. No reservations needed. Glad I stopped by.

Very comparable to Puerta Vallarta, interior and atmosphere wise. Delicious chips and salsa and a better salsa than Puerta’s in my opinion. My gf and I decided to split a Molcajete and it definitely did not disappoint. 2 different kinds of chicken, 2 different kinds of steak, peppers, onions (that she ate) grilled pineapple, 2 giant leeks (that she ate, pbv) and like 3 shrimp. All cooked over a nice fire and then placed in the volcano bowl. Really my only gripes with this place was that the floor was really slippery everywhere (even under our feet at the table) and that they charge you for every little side you order such as lettuce, sour cream, sauces etc. other than those things that don’t even matter, we loved and will definitely be back.

Excellent food and atmosphere, especially the service. Something I always like is making a reservation, and on this occasion it was perfect.
On this occasion, we’re going to eat something practical but with a Mexican touch.

Viviana was an amazing bartender and really attended to my order and had no issues when I either changed my mind or added additional item to my order. This is my first time here and hoping the food is amazing. Viviana also provided suggestion when ask what’s great on the menu. She was amazing and had awesome customer service.

Went here for lunch this past Saturday. I enjoy plaza azteca, their prices are reasonable and their food is consistent and flavorful. I got a coconut margarita which was a delicious treat. We got guac for the table, which must’ve had at least 4 whole avocados in it there was so much! When I food came we decided to use the extra to top our food with and it only enhanced what was already amazing. I got a fajita salad because I wanted the crispy shell bowl, crispy crunchy and loaded with chicken, refried beans, peppers, lettuce, and sour cream (chipotle would never), my husband got a burrito and could only eat half iat his maturing age as a kid he could’ve eaten it all and gotten a second. My son has the seafood chimichanga, which he really enjoyed, he’s a seafood lover.
The place was clean, the service was quick, and everyone was polite.
And I’ve read through other reviews, there is no bad smell. I even asked my husband to smell deep and describe what he could smell, and my son as well to get an opinion when they didn’t know what I was looking for, and we all agreed it just smell clean with a hint of cooking, so hope that helps.

I can’t wait to come back to this restaurant! The food here is amazing! The portions are large and the food has lots of flavor. All of the food was cooked and prepared in authentic Mexican style. The atmosphere was warm, inviting and has lots of character. The staff was friendly and professional. This restaurant is clean as well as the bathrooms. I will make sure I eat here next time I’m in the area!
