We’re so glad to have come across this restaurant up the street from our hotel. After traveling this hit the spot! Portions more than enough for two people, food fresh and hot. Drinks made just right and service was ok for a Friday night. If you live in this area definitely make a visit soon you won’t be disappointed.

If you love unlimited chips and salsa because you’ll be waiting so long you forget you even ordered food, this is your place. I’m on my third basket of chips. My cheese dip has fully coagulated twice and needed to be reheated, which honestly felt like a science experiment.
From what I can see, only about four of the fifteen tables even have patrons, so it’s not exactly slammed. Still waited over an hour. When the food finally arrived, it was wrong.
Skip ordering a meal. Just come hungry, plan to fill up on chips, and enjoy the waiting. The chips are the most reliable thing here.

Cannot speak for the service or the atmosphere as I have only done pickup, although the gentlemen at the front were kind. The food is alright but it depends on what you get, overpriced compared to other options in the area and when I order tacos they have almost no cheese and come in a pool of oil- I will not be ordering from here again as it has happened twice in a row now. The photo attached shows the oil when I first picked them up, by the time I finished eating the entire container was filled with a pool of oil. Needless to say this meal left me feeling less than great.

We went tonight and had an amazing time. Their patio is very pet friendly, our server Maria was very attentive and made sure us and our dog had water. We ordered a margarita and cheese dip, always our go to and very good. For meals my husband has the ACP and I had a taco salad. I told her it was my husbands birthday so Maria hooked us up with ice cream and an amazing show…. They all came out singing with day of the dead helmets on, so fun and such a delightful experience. If you are ever in Richmond highly recommend this spot.

The food is good but really overpriced for what you get. Service is hit or miss, but last time it was really bad. First I asked for a Tecate, she said “is that a beer”, she had to go ask. Came back and said they don’t have that. So I ordered a Dos Equis Amber and they brought me a Dos Equis Lager, when I said something they argued so I just drank it. Next beer I ordered a Negra Modelo and they brought me a Modelo Especial, when I said something again, they thought I said a regular Modelo… With my meal I tried to order a side of cebollitas asadas (grilled onions), she said there’s no button for that, so she’ll check with the kitchen, she waited until the food came out and said that the kitchen said they were “out of those”.. yeah right.. So for two beers and one single chile relleno (no sauce) with a little steak on top and a bowl of black beans, it was over $40! Left hungry.. Didn’t complain, just paid, tipped and left. Plenty of other Mexican options in the area.

Went here with a big group and we had a blast. Drinks were good, Margarita was a little to sweet. The food was very good. Service was excellent. Had the Birra Tacos and loved them.

Food was AMAZING. I got one of the tacos I can’t remember exactly which one but lord have mercy were they good. The service….on a nonjudgmental note it’s a Hispanic restaurant so English might not be the first language of your server. Although he did his best he needs some pointer. Refilled drinks without replacing ice (3 drink refills, less and less ice each refill). Got my drink order wrong after trying my hardest to explain what I wanted (Shirley temple) because he didn’t seem to understand I specified Sprite and Grenadine. But other than trying to get a different server next time I go. I WILL BE BACK. SO GOOD
