The jumbo shrimps here are amazing as well as the tripe sandwich and catfish fillet. The only down side is parking because it’s a residential area with street parking and the wait time for food.

I love this place. I hate the owner is sick and had to reduce their hours, but I’m gonna support them as much as I can. They are open Thursday, Friday and Saturday 11 to 6 Thursday and Saturday, 11 to 9 Friday. Show them some love. They’ve got the best fried
shrimp in town.

The best fried shrimp on the planet!
They have good cat & jack salmon fish as well.
This is not a “fast food” spot.
The wait is usually at least 45 minutes, but worth every second.
It’s take out only, so there is no atmosphere.
But the food is superb!
You owe it to yourself to taste those shrimp!

Google told me this place was closed for business. I busted a U turn when I passed it and saw that it was open for business. They have the best shrimp and onion rings in the STL. Ran by 2 of sweetest and hippest women in the STL I always have to get a double order of onion rings If you’ve never been here the shrimp are the size of prawns..worth the drive from any where. Everything on the menu is delicious. Quite an experience! Be prepared to wait at least 25 min due to being short staffed because of the plandemic. Dine-In will reopen soon. If you remember the shrimp place on the East Side called Scotia(I’m telling my age now) They used to be 1st place. My cousin’s husband Is Scotia’s nephew and he knows her secret recipe and won’t give it. He’s sitting on a gold mine and doesn’t even know it!

The shrimp was not the same. I believe they were split jumbo or collasal and not like the big prawns. But their customer service still is nice, friendly, and respectful

Playboy only serve food now and the lounge is in need of a great overhaul
renovation. It takes a LONG TIME to get your food and she don’t take call in orders. She is In need of some help. Even the tarter sauce recipe changed. I used to love it. The owner is a nice person, but things need to change. I’ll stop here..
