We’ve loved eating at this amazing restaurant for over 20 years! We first visited when it was “El Sol” in the early 2000s, and we have been faithful customers through ownership, management, and name changes. We no longer live in Coos Bay, but we make it our priority to stop by when we visit!

Hands-down the best Mexican food we’ve had in the area. The chile verde was spectacular and an instant favorite! The fried jalapenos are just that – salted and fried (ie. not jalapeno poppers), and they were delicious! If you order them, keep in mind that they’re rather large.
We’ve had Mexican food at a couple other places so far, and I see no reason to go back to them. This is now our go-to. It looks like they do a lot of online orders, so keep that in mind if you don’t want to dine in.

As a first time client here I just had the fajita burrito…and I have to say that it is one of the best burritos I’ve had since I left Arizona!!! Almost was able to eat the whole thing now I get to have an awesome lunch tomorrow also my son is autistic so thank you for offering a basic kid menu for the neurodivergent folks. It was awesome we will be back!!

Delightful, delicious, delectable!! Every single item was so good. We ate lunch then ordered extra to go!! Traveling back to Idaho and leaving this place behind is so sad. The waiter was incredible, super friendly and accommodating. Wish I had pictures to share. But didn’t even think about it until every last drop of the food was gone.

Stopped by there on an errand up to Coos Bay. First time eating there, first time leaving any restaurant review. Started with their fresh salsa with chips and some of their house spicy salsa as well, both excellent. Chips were warm and delicately crunchy. Pina Colada and a margarita, both yummy. Had the quesabirria plate and the Chile verde, both with the whole beans, highly recommend. Sauces all homemade, plating attractive, and service was warm and friendly. Cute little spot, we can’t wait to go back.

Excellent salsa! The best in town! Arroz Con Pollo is our favorite dish to order there! The staff are warm and friendly, the parking isn’t great, but overall, I love this place!
