We love this place! I always get the 8th avenue bowl. If you’ve had real Brazilian açaí you know it’s really hard to find in Texas. This is the real thing! It tastes just like being in Brazil and brings back lots of memories. The staff is very friendly and they’re great about swapping out toppings so you can customize your bowl. They also have a fun points system where you can get rewards.

I recently visited Playa Bowls in North San Antonio for the first time and had a wonderful experience. The decor and ambiance are really nice, creating a pleasant atmosphere. Although the sound of the blender can be a bit noisy, making it potentially better suited for ordering to go, the overall experience was still very enjoyable.
The customer service was excellent, with friendly and attentive staff. The menu offers a wide variety of flavors, catering to different tastes, and the coffee drinks are a great addition to their offerings.
Overall, it was a great experience, and I fully recommend Playa Bowls for all açaí lovers.

Well if this place isn’t chill and cool I don’t know what is. I love the beach/surfer theme for the decor. Well if you need a sweet fix but don’t want to feel awful afterwards this is your place. Everything is fresh, light and delicious and served by a prompt and polite staff. Don’t let the pictures fool you, these are no small bowls. I think everything on the menu is delicious, from bowls to smoothies or juices in the fridge case. The costa bowl, the Nutella bowls (both with banana bases (base is the flavor of fruit sorbet on the bottom)) and the strawberry banana coconut smoothie were downed by our family. I am not a sweets person and this just hits all the right spots. A great spot for the family or a date. I get why my friends have been raving about this place now lol.

The girls at the front counter tonight are very sweet! I came in 20 minutes before closing and asked if it was too late to order and they were so sweet and welcoming. I’m waiting for my food right now and just wanted to shout them out. They have a great atmosphere and kind energy to them.

Delishous I got the Nutilaya bowl I felt like eating something chocolaty and that just hit the spot, perfect pitaya, Nutella, banana, Blueberries, natural cocoa chunks and granola. It’s was really good and the serving was perfect .

The atmosphere was welcoming, and the young man working there was incredibly kind and polite. He even walked me to my car, which truly meant a lot and made me feel cared for and safe. It’s so nice to see such genuine kindness—there’s nothing sweeter than a respectful young man. I’ll definitely be back!

Previous after 1 week open. Outstanding new business! Tried to get in opening day a week ago but too busy. Good steady business today with both owners with their sleeves up working, great polite crew. Loved the coco-berry bowl. Nice seating inside or can linger outside in comfortable shopping center (remember those?) Loved it, Going back soon! Oh yeah, healthy as all “git-out”!
