I had a great experience at Playa Bowls today! I was looking for something hearty yet healthy and their oatmeal did not disappoint.
I ordered the oatmeal topped with blueberries and strawberries, and it was the perfect choice. The oats were served warm and had a great consistency, while the fruit was incredibly fresh and vibrant. It is rare to find a place that uses such high-quality berries that actually taste like they were just picked.
The shop had a wonderful energy and the staff made the whole visit seamless. It is the perfect spot for a clean, delicious meal that leaves you feeling energized. I will definitely be making this a regular stop in my routine!

Ordered coconut bowl with mango but it seemed to have way more mango base than coconut for both bowls, barely any coconut at all. For a total of 33$ for 2 bowls, u should at least get what u ordered…

I stopped off at Playa bowls in Merrick and had a wonderful experience. The girl who help me was so nice, she made me a wonderful bowl. I would recommend this place to anyone especially girl that helped me Amanda, because she was just a fantastic worker who cares. So make sure when you when you go ask for Amanda to make your next bowl or smoothie. Way to go Amanda!!! it’s very nice to see young kids who want to work they are our future!

The quality is super inconsistent. There is never the same people working, everytime I go in there it’s a complete different set of workers. Last time they forgot to put my fruit on the bowl and gave me just the base, this time my açaí is super watery. The quality has been lacking recently and for such an expensive price it’s not worth it.

Disappointing that on Veterans Day, this was the only Playa Bowls location that didn’t honor the “free made-to-order superfruit bowl” promotion for veterans. Every other store recognized it, which made this experience feel especially disheartening.

the manger Raul called me a slur and my bowl was barely filled. It was terribly made and the fruits seemed old and moldy. I miss the old team from over 3 years ago, the new management ruined this location. A huge disappointment, genuinely the worst its ever been.
