Ordered from here yesterday. They gave you an option to have it delivered and My wife and I were in the middle of Bath and bed with the kids so I chose that option. Needless to say, it was never picked up an hour and a half later by Uber eats. Had I known it was Uber eats I would have never have done it. After driving there to pick it up, I got home and my bowl was about half of what it usually is. I have noticed this with order is using Uber eats. Whatever The restaurant is you order from? They don’t really care about it and they push it out because they figure it will never come back to them. My bowl was so bad. I took pictures of it and wrote to the owner to try to make it right to which they said it looks like the bowl is made correctly. Also that there was nothing they could do for me. I have to take it up with Uber Eats. I don’t even have an Uber eats account. That will be the last time I order From them. I just really wish another place would open up already. I will add photos to this review so you can be the judge.

I eat here several times a week, usually around lunchtime but anywhere between 9a and 4p. This PB location is more spacious than others, and I never wait more than 5-10 minutes for an order. Nick and Haneefah are always warm and friendly, and they make sure my coconut/ blueberry bowl is not only delicious but aesthetically pleasing as well. A great spot!

I don’t ever write reviews but felt compelled to after my last few experiences at this location. I LOVE playa bowls and am a loyal customer, but the last 3 times I’ve gone to this location, I have had to wait 30+ minutes for 2 playa bowls. I always order through the app ahead of time so I don’t have to wait. The wait times in the app clearly mean nothing because the last 3 times I have arrived and the app says my food is ready yet they have not even started on my bowl. They had about 10 orders they still had to get through, and I waited over 30 minutes with my 2 month old baby in tow. They are either understaffed or need to do a better job with wait times. I also had to ask multiple times if my order was ready while waiting and it seemed they had forgotten to even start it the last time I asked.

I come to this location a lot and tonight (12/8/25) was the second time I experienced the girl working using the same gloves she is touching the register and money with and grabbing the fruit with the same gloves. Gross. Change ur gloves or take them off when handling the money or the register

Like playa for its healthy. But something happened horrible today, four parts of blue rubber band in my bowl. check the pictures in red circle below. In pandemic, take away to enjoy playa turns to a nightmare. I cannot imagine if my kids was eating this bow.

Second time there, time to review.
Walk in and the menu is on the wall to the left. The employees were friendly but not fake friendly. Which is nice. I forget what my wife ordered, something with Nutella and I hit a smoothie. On a scale of one to ten, ten all day!

This Playa Bowls is newer and there is room to grow but overall it was a good experience. Unlike the Red Bank location you can place a mobile order on your phone and pick it up 15 minutes later. This was nice because I was able to easily as for a split bowl as well as gluten free granola. They also have outdoor seating set up in their parking lot so you can enjoy your food there. The only downside to the mobile order is that you have to pay a $.50 surcharge to place a mobile order. Overall, my bowl was good and I will be returning to this location in the future.
