The BEST Connecticut style Lobster rolls!! We ate here 3 days in a row when we stayed in Beaver Creek. Great atmosphere. Good service. Top notch food! Perfect location near the ice skating rink which is central to everything.

The food was good but the portions were quite small. Our server, Vlad P, charged $32.50 for an old fashioned & it was served without a cherry. So, one Coke, a small plate of sushi, and a sub-par old fashioned went for an inflated $80!

Fun place to stop before dinner. We got a drink at their outside bar and sat at the fire pits. The Christmas lights and the ice skating rink made this setting super festive. They have blankets and some fake fur chair seat cushions to make it cozy.

Our recent visit to Hooked Beaver Creek was a delightful experience that earned a solid 4 stars from us! We decided to mix things up with a variety of dishes, and the menu didn’t disappoint. We started with some sushi, which was a standout—fresh, expertly crafted, and bursting with flavor. The fish was clearly high-quality, and the presentation was simple yet elegant, making it a treat for both the palate and the eyes. Next up was the Lobster roll sandwich, a dish I’d been eager to try. It came loaded with tender, succulent lobster, lightly dressed and nestled in a perfectly toasted roll. While it didn’t completely blow me away, it was undeniably delicious and a great option for seafood lovers.
We also ordered the chicken sandwich, which was a pleasant surprise. The chicken was juicy and well-seasoned, with a nice crispy exterior that added some texture to the experience. It wasn’t the star of the meal, but it held its own as a solid choice for anyone craving something hearty.
The atmosphere at Hooked Beaver Creek was decent—casual and relaxed, though not particularly memorable. Service was okay; the staff were friendly enough, but there were moments where it felt a little slow or disjointed. Still, the food more than made up for it. Overall, this spot offers quality eats in a laid-back setting, and we’d happily return to dive deeper into their menu. Four stars well-deserved!

We went for lunch. If I could give 3.5* for food and service , I would.
Service was ok, they forgot my wine and brought the wrong order for one of us, but it was timely and courteous.
We ordered the Poke bowl, fish tacos, and a cup and a bowl of the NE clam chowder, and the chicken sandwich. Everything was really good, except the chicken sandwich. It is basically a fish place, but the chicken sandwich was barely edible. It was dry and way over breaded. The fries were a bit under cooked, so a little hard inside and soggy outside.
Stick to seafood and bring your wallet, as it was fairly pricey for lunch, even for BC.

Please, before you consider this restaurant, read the many poor reviews regarding poor service and rude attitude. ACTUALLY google, poor reviews for Hooked restaurant in Avon to easily see content that is otherwise burried. My husband and I arrived at 6:30 on Saturday, Jan. 31st. and patiently waited for a couple at the bar to finish their drinks and pay their bill before taking their seats. We had asked the bartender if the seats were first come, first serve. He confirmed nicely that was their policy and so we waited. Just as we were about to sit down, THE HOSTESS aka THE BOSS, rushed over and rudely blocked me from sitting down. I almost nearly lost my step as her behavior was so rushed, deliberate and rude. She said,” I have a waiting list so you can’t take these seats until I check, She came back and proudly told us we couldn’t take these seats as she had a party of 5″. By time she left and returned there were now 7 open seats. We said fine, can we have the two seats that just opened and she FIRMLY SAID NO. Her wait list was quite long. Overall, we felt she ENJOYED her POWER as THE BOSS and rejecting us. WHO NEEDS THIS KIND OF RUDE BEHAVIOR BEFORE YOU EVEN START YOUR MEAl. We wound up going to another restaurant neaby and were quite happy with the pleasant service and food, Again, I urge you to read the review on their poor service. I wish I had before she made my blood pressure soar.

hooked is a bc LSTE (legendary spot to eat), those who know know. hot sake is peak…idk what they’re doing but i may as well call it gekkei-PEAK! also bartender Sam (Samuel if you know him from back west) is a true delight. Fish is good too man, just bring your lady and wallet and maybe a beta blocker as well for when that check comes.

We came in after a show…And had the best server come help the bartender out. She unfortunately wasn’t our server for the whole time. The bartender didn’t even ever greet us or even look at us. She seemed miserable ..Made us not even want to be there (could hear her comments/see her reaction on how she was feeling about the late night rush) Unfortunate bc the restaurant seems great. Hopefully you get good service from the server like ours. Would have been a 5 star review.
