Took us a while to find it but very quick service, nice food & lovely setting. Considering it was a Tuesday in October, it was busy. Parking said €20, refundable with the meal but we weren’t charged for parking. I can imagine parking in summer would be horrendous.

Excellent service by Luca and the host. We came just for drinks but menu looked so amazing we ordered some starters and they were so delicious that we ranked this place as our favourite place to eat by the beach. Amazing! good price in comparison to other places vs food quality incredible!

It is the most beautiful place. We were lucky to have a table right on the beach it was just exceptional. The food was fresh and very good. I loved that place and looking forward to going back again. The service was great. We had a wonderful time.

Good food and great atmosphere right on the shore. Half of the tables are posed on the sand. However the service slow, and bizarrely resentful, albeit courteous. I would have preferred not hearing “sir/madam” after every second word and have water and plates served properly.

The food here is pretty decent, but the prices, especially for drinks and stuff like ice cream for the kids, are not exactly wallet-friendly. If you’re looking for a quick bite, it might not be the best idea to settle here. There’s a container booth right next to it where you can get the same Oreo ice cream for 3 euros, compared to 7 euros here—so yeah, quite the markup. But if you’re in for a proper meal, this place might just do the trick for many.

Well, how interesting! Despite having received a booking confirmation, a reminder of the booking this morning and an email after the “booking” thanking me for going – the restaurant was in fact closed! Luckily, there was a really excellent restaurant next door (palm Beach) where we had a lovely meal – otherwise our half hour drive would have been for nothing.

We came here based on most recent reviews, and I am convinced they are not authentic. On the somewhat positive note: the beach is beautiful, albeit crowded, but if you are seated in the large back section of the restaurant, you don’t even see the beach. The service is not efficient, but to be fair, also not hostile. The size of the establishment does not lend itself to a luxurious experience. The food is definitely cafeteria fare, so if you think of this as a beach bar/café, it might be somewhat decent, but if you consider the other culinary options on the island, and mistake this for a “restaurant”, you are literally throwing your money away.
The photos of the furnishings and setting were misguiding in the sense that though it is well designed aesthetically, and in keeping with the modern organic vibe of the island, the food is decidedly awful. It’s also about three times larger than I expected, so it feels like a shopping mall food court.
Caesar salad had barely any lettuce, and felt like a vessel for croutons made from day old bread. The chicken dish was bland, small, boring. In fact, my daughter’s kids menu fish was the most palatable of our lunch orders. Although we didn’t take menu pricing into account, I would’ve preferred to spend an extra €50-€60 to have a memorable meal and service. My order felt like an airport salad at airport salad pricing. Most places we visited so far, we would easily come back to, and this was the first establishment I would not say that about.

Playa Baggio is an upscale beach restaurant on Plage de Palombaggia. You sit under large wind sails, it looks very nice and the food is very good. We had the Duck Burger and the Tuna Tartar. Both was very delicate. The View from the restaurant an the location as well are more reasons for a 5 star vote. Only the service can be improved. Although the service staff were quick, but they acted very loveless, without charm or esprit. They do their job, not more.
