Best thing that’s touched my tastebuds in Baltimore. They have a variety of foods with many different flavors. I paid about $20 plus tax and wasnt even able to finish it first sitting, honestly worth it. I’ll definitely be coming here again

if I lived in bmore I would have to walk pass this place with a blindfold. seeing it i would be in line everyday to buy something. the amount of food they give you is basically for me 2 meals so u definitely get your money’s worth.
I got a chicken wing platter: 8 fried wings, Mac and cheese, candied yams.
honey lemon pepper wings: A. I dont eat wings alot nor do I care too much for lemon pepper on them but i do like honey. and since i wasn’t sure what flavor I wanted the employee was nice enough to help me out and recommended this flavor so I tried it. the chicken perfect crisp to it. I tasted the sweetness of the honey more than the lemon pepper which I preferred so I was happy.
candied yams A++++ I loved this dish. I love very sweet yams. my dad use to make them like this for me and with the first bite. I felt like he left them his recipe. they were soft not overcooked and so sweet. I would go back just for this dish
Mac and cheese ,B- noodles cooked perfectly very cheesy but it lacked flavor. I think if they use gruyere or smoked gouda would bring this dish out better. and if they do use them its not enough. but I still would recommend because Mac and cheese is one of those dishes people make so different. it just finding one to your liking. this dish wasnt bad just not my preference in taste.

smoked turkey, yellow rice, mac and cheese and string beans
smoke turkey he gave an A cooked well tender great flavor
yellow rice: B+ wasnt expecting this but said it reminded him of popeyes dirty rice.
string beans A nice flavor cooked well liked the seasoning
mac and cheese C not to his liking didnt like the flavor.
it took about 30 minutes to get our food but worth the wait. I really enjoyed my 2 meals in 1. and will definitely brave the dmv and bmore horrific traffic to visit this restaurant again.

Everything was good. I picked up the bag and it was heavy that was the 1st good sign lol. 20 bucks plus tax and if you not a greed person it feed two or you can save it. Taste very good as well.

Believe the hype Plattaking is the real deal. So many places look amazing on Instagram, but when you actually go, the food doesn’t live up to the pictures. That was definitely not the case here.
The food was absolutely amazing, the portions were generous, and everything was seasoned perfectly. There are so many options on the menu, and the prices are very reasonable for the portion sizes you get. I drove 30 minutes there, ordered online, and drove 30 minutes back home and the chicken was still crispy. That alone impressed me.
My entire family really enjoyed it, and we will definitely be back. If you’re thinking about trying it, don’t hesitate. Highly recommend!

This place was a real treat, and the food was worth the wait. My order was flavorful and hefty sides. At the same time, the food was so good that I didn’t even want to share it with my friend. Minor concerns parking was atrocious, carry out only joint, desserts sold out, and my raspberry lemonade was diabetes sweet. Oh, skip the rice y’all variety of sides. This is officially a return spot whenever I visit MD. Thank you for showing people how it’s done in the restaurant tip.

I had the platter with 4 honey lemon pepper shrimp and 4 maple jerk wings, plus collard greens and mac and cheese for $25 before tax.
The shrimp were a nice size and a solid addition to the platter. You could definitely taste the lemon pepper and honey on them, and it wasn’t overpowering or overly sweet, which I appreciated. They were somewhat crispy but a bit too heavily breaded for my liking, and a few had doughy spots. The flavor was good overall, but the lack of crunch took away from the experience. 7/10.
The wings were fresh and cooked well, but the breading and sauce softened the crunch. The maple jerk sauce had a sweet and spicy base, but I couldn’t distinctly taste maple or jerk seasoning. Still enjoyable though. 7.5/10.
The collard greens were phenomenal, perfectly seasoned and flavorful, packed with tender turkey meat. Easily the standout of the meal. 10/10.
The mac and cheese had good flavor and a nice cheese pull, but it lacked the creaminess I was expecting. It felt more like seasoned noodles with stringy cheese rather than a rich, cohesive mac. 5/10.
Overall rating 7/10. The sides, especially the greens, carried the meal, but the mains needed more texture and stronger flavor definition to really elevate the platter.

Ordered salmon tenders, yellow rice and mashed potatoes for 70 bucks..I received the littlest piece of salmon on my tray.I asked for yellow rice as a side of mashed potatoes no gravy hmmm I get hassled because I don’t want gravy they gave me Mac and cheese as a side and yellow rice I then take it back and say it’s not what I ordered and I’m allergic to yellow cheese I then get hassled about that I asked for the correct stuff again and I get my tray back in the same container like I didnt tell them I was allergic to yellow cheese. Later I get in my car start it up like ooooooweee salmon tenders this is what I got

I’ve been meaning to try PlattaKing since moving to Baltimore and finally got the chance. I ordered the Honey Old Bay Wings (8 per order) with mac and cheese and candied yams on the side. The wings were fried perfectly, mac and cheese was creamy and really good. The candied yams were too sweet for me but if you like super sweet sides, you’ll enjoy them. Ordering online and picking up was super convenient and easy, and the service was great.

The food is decent . What is the hype about ? I walk in the store and I understand it’s self own but it’s a mess in the fridge and lobby . Put some money into your business and make it look CLEANER, half way eating the rice I saw a hair and then that’s when I tossed out the food .

Wow. These wings were insanely good, and I’m picky about my wings lol. So crispy, and FLAVORFUL. Fried perfectly, not dry at all on the inside, but also not too juicy to where I’m questioning things (If you know you know lol). The lemon pepper buffalo sauce?!?! Perfection. Sauce was the right amount of spicy, (I like spicy) but not too spicy to where it lingers too long. Seriously kicking myself for only getting wings, I’m going back asap to try literally everything else. 10/10
