The service at this place is excellent. We ordered two noodles and calamari. The calamari was breaded a bit too thick. The noodles were good with lots of crunchy veggies.

Honestly, I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. From the service to the variety to the atmosphere, my experience was nothing shy of great! Our waitress was so attentive and extremely friendly. I recommend coming here if you like sushi!

This place is so good, the chicken in their name is well deserved. The texture and flavor are amazing! We got the honey butter and garlic soy flavors. All of their food is so fresh and reasonably priced. We will definitely be back!

The location is easy to get to with parking. The seating is hard and utilitarian. Cold in winter. Atmosphere is clean and pleasant enough, but not cozy or private. Ordering is by mounted built in tablets at each table. Items have pictures, but no explanations/descriptions, but it was easy to order. Food was quick. I don’t know about the $10-20 range. That’s per meal without appetizers or drinks.

I don’t know where to start because I love this place so much.
I recommend Plate more than going out for sushi downtown. They have a great chill vibe, the staff are welcoming, and the food is always very fresh.
They have something extra special that makes the place just so comfortable. The food is super good and menu has a lot of variety.

Ordered Donkatsu bento. Each food item in this combo is mediocre I would say, but it’s a huge variety, lol.
Tempura batter needs to be more crispy.
Donkatsu a bit too dry.
Rice texture can be improved.

Cool spot for sushi in Ann Arbor! They do not serve alcohol!
Very intimidate cafeteria type set up inside, staff is super friendly and quick. Street parking was plentiful with tons of nearby shops to check out. We got a few rolls for the table- salmon on the beach, U of M and Tokoyo roll plus the chicken wings with soy garlic/honey butter.
Sushi was a hit- loved the flavors and was able to see the sushi chefs at work. 10/10. Pictures on the menu so it was easy to pick out what we liked. The chicken was flavorful and very crunchy. Would definitely order again!
We also had the house barley tea which tasted heavy like oats as well as the miso soup which was the best miso soup of my life. Definitely stop in!

Food was delicious!!! It’s rare to see a place that does Japanese food AND Korean food well. We got a few appetizers (agedashi tofu and avocado bomb), the tonkatsu bento box and 10 piece Korean fried chicken (soy garlic and honey butter). The fried chicken was so crispy and flavorful and I loved the bento box presentation!
