Some of the best soul food I’ve had in a long time. As a trucker I love finding B.O.Bs, and this one definitely did not disappoint me at all. I promise u I thought my grandma n moms was back there cooking.

First time visiting. Atmosphere was fine. Staff was nice and friendly, prices were a bit high for me but I wanted the food so bad I made an exception. I had the catfish dinner with Mac yams and dressing. The only thing I enjoyed was the fish. It was fire! The cornbread was dry, the Mac was flavorless, the dressing was a bit salty and the yams were too sweet for my liking. Also I had Maybe five yams and underneath was basically mashed sweet potatoes. I am a child of a woman from the South so I know good food. Looks great but taste not so good. I most likely won’t visit again.

The presentation was so beautifully done! More importantly the seasoning and flavor of the food was AWESOME !!!! Very impressed with this Catfish plate! I liked the portions were very generous! The gentleman working in there this evening was very polite and pleasant as well. I will be back and can’t wait to try their Gumbo and Strawberry pound cake next! Thank you Plate Pleasures for the great experience!!!

We drove all the way from Madison but before we drove we called to see if they were open and they were VERY VERY NICE and gave us the whole run down of the menu. When we got there they were patient and gave us a run down of the menu again, gave us suggestions. We ordered 5 meals for our family and waited till we got back home to eat, food was STILL hot and fresh. YALL ONE PLATE CAN FEED 2 PEOPLE…I am not joking. They food was so good and they customer service matched how good the food was. 10/10 we will be back

I absolutely love this place. The food here is delicious and is always nice and hot. I’ve had the catfish, turkey leg, mac and cheese, greens, and the dressing all cooked to perfection. It’s a little pricey but with this quality of food it is definitely worth it! The staff is also nice. Great customer service. 5 stars for sure.

I heard of this place but I live far south. So today I was close by so I stopped in. The food is delicious. The yams aren’t too sweet, there just right! The turkey leg was so tender! The rotisserie bbq herb

I drove almost 40 minutes to try the hot honey Buffalo Turkey leg…The lady who was the owner who assisted me was extremely rude and had a weird condensing attitude throughout the entire interaction…I was so thrown off by this such poor service that I requested a refund..So didn’t even get to taste the food…Y’all scream for people to support black owned business but are so damn rude you don’t even realize it…I will never again and will spend my money with different cultures who actually have some respect for people spending their hard earned money at their place of business!!!
