These women were very lovely and compassionate.
I had excellent food even though I didn’t go on the ideal day for what I went for. Food is really inexpensive, especially considering what I purchased. The food was fresh and delicious.

The way they create the patties was the only thing I didn’t enjoy. It had too much salt. The fish needs to be soaked in a little lime juice for a longer period of time.

These lady’s were so kind and sweet.
Although I didn’t go on the right day for what I went for, I still had great food. Food is really cheap, especially for what I got. The food was good and fresh.

The only thing I didn’t like it how they make the patties. It was too salty. Need to soak that fish longer with a little bit of lime juice.

Food was not bad but it was salty. The name has Caribbean market. Not Plat Creole. Atomosphere is not that appealing. But you can eat in.

The food was delicious! We had fried turkey and rice with pinto beans. The food had right amout salt and spicy. Food came out hot and fresh. The group wanted Haitian food once we landed from the airport. It was the 1st to come up during the search and close in distance. Plentiful amount to share and / or leaves for later. We ordered 10 plates for a group of 15ppl. Its more a takeout restaurant but has 4 or so tables for quick bite. Great food and service.

I’ve been dying to try this place for a while. Happened to be in the neighborhood and stopped in. First of all I was told food would be ready on 10 minutes and it ended up taking 30 when the place was completely bone dry empty. It was so empty the person working the register was sitting in the dining area enjoying a bottle of wine.

Took the food home and it tasted ok…that is until I saw the supermarket barcode still on the cut up produce in my food. I didn’t order griot with a side of sticker.

The food is good however the serving size is ridiculous. I ordered a small fried turkey meal with white rice and only received two pieces of meat with all fat and no meat.
I also went out of my way to drive here during operating hours to find out it was closed. Overall I’m very disappointed with how stingy they are with food.

I’ve never had Haitian food before, and this meal was amazing. I got the Sunday special mushroom rice and fried goat. I love all the extra veggies that come with the food. Everything was wonderfully seasoned and flavorful.

I see why they call this place the best Haitian restaurant in New Jersey, I’ve really been missing out lol. After a while of searching I come to conclusion that this place makes fish just how I like it.
My experience was great overall from beginning to end, at the point of call in; they didn’t assume I knew how to speak creole by greeting me in creole nor did I have to wait 5 mins for them to get an English speaker.
I’ve now marked this as my new spot. ❤️
