Very nice place for date night or to meet up with friends. Located in Poipu, definitely worth a visit. Has a gorgeous garden in the front and nice open air place. Went for happy hour and had a chicken sandwich with a few drinks. Drink are priced very reasonable at $4-$5 for happy hour. You won’t find as nice a place as this with those prices.
Service was good. We were a large group so it did take some time to get drinks at first but waiter kept checking when mine was low.
Only complaint is parking is not near the restaurant. You park up the hill and walk down to it.
Happy hour from 4:30-5:30.

Plantation Gardens, and Amy – our event coordinator, were simply incredible. We had our intimate (9 people) wedding reception there, and everything from start to finish was fantastic. Amy made everything so easy, and gave us tremendous confidence that everything would be handled so we wouldn’t have to sweat the details. The grounds we’re beautiful, the food was great, and the atmosphere tremendous. The guests all loved it and had a great time, and everything went off without a hitch. Thanks to Amy and Plantation Gardens for an unforgettable evening!

I recently worked with Amy Evans with a small group private dinner at Plantation Gardens Restaurant. She made the whole planning process easy planning from Nebraska. The chef’s and staff made an AMAZING dinner with delicious options for our unusual special requests of vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, and dairy free special diets. The patio dining was lovely, the servers were amazing and it was a stress free lovely evening. My compliments to all.

We enjoyed our anniversary dinner here and had delicious fish and pork chop. Would highly recommend the pork chop for that perfect grilled and sweet mix. The place definitely needs a few updates but was overall relaxing and pleasant.

The food was ok. We had the ribeye, which was quite good and huge, but also had the seafood Lau Lau, which was very disappointing with minimal fish and seafood, little flavor and overcooked everything making is rubbery. We also had the flourless chocolate cake, which was good but not great – very dense and fudge-like but nothing interesting to put it over the top. The gardens are beautiful and there is a cat that will come by for a scratching and food who is super sweet. Service was good. Overall a bit disappointing.

Dinner last night and happy hour today proved the staff should be replaced. They are not friendly and pour at customer service. I love everything about this place! You walk in and are greeted by a friendly hostess. We asked to sit out on the lanai and had a wonderful table waiting for us. The busses was quick with waters and the server shortly followed. He was also very nice and knowledgeable about the menu. I ordered the seafood stir fry and it was AMAZING!!! Exactly what I was looking for. Only bummer was it filled me up with no room for dessert. Will def be going back to enjoy more of their food options.

Beautiful old plantation Hawaii setting. Sat outside at the bar for dinner. Food and drinks we’re all great. Our bartender was friendly, but the rest of the staff looked miserable. No smiles, no joking around. Too bad. I wanted to love it, but not worth returning to a grumpy group of staff.
