**EDIT: We went there Friday night, Sept 26, 2025, and the cafe is currently “closed until further notice”. Call ahead and see exactly which part of the business is open.** What a treasure! Plant Gossip is basically a raw organic vegan restaurant, the only one for hundreds of miles. I don’t think Seattle even has a restaurant like this. They use no gluten, soy, processed foods, chemicals, or additives, and everything they do is made inhouse. Great, creative food that is delicious and filling. They also have an amazing assortment of house made nut butters, plus smoothies, shakes, desserts, beer and wine, and more. The kitchen was a little slow when we were there (over 30 minutes for our dishes to arrive), but I am guessing some of the dishes we ordered took a little time to prepare. It was worth the wait. The Yucatan Power Bowl is money! My wife had a full size Sunshine Salad, and neither of us could finish our meal. We had plenty of leftovers. (Edit: The menu prices for meals are a few dollars higher now than in the currently posted menu pictures. Here are pictures of the menu as of 9/7/2025)

First time in and absolutely love this place and the food. We ordered the Jack Fruit Tacos and the Sloppy Joe Smash Burger. Both were exceptional with tons of flavor. Portions were huge one dish is enough for two people. They also have great coffees, wine, beer, and numerous baked goods and deserts. This is a must stop for anyone wanting to try some great food in downtown Coeur d’Alene, Idaho

I will absolutely be coming back! The employees were so kind, helpful, and very knowledgeable! I only had a latte this visit but it was amazing! And the homemade nut milk was the best I’ve ever tasted. Today was their “Soft Opening”, and I wholeheartedly recommend you check it out for yourself!

This place was sooooo good! We got the Brady bunch smoothie, the banana date almond mealk shake, and the crack butter toastie which was the best peanut butter toast I’ve ever had!
Service was excellent. Entire menu is gluten-free, organic, and made from scratch. Super high quality and delicious food.

New place just had a soft opening on 4th and Indiana. They are offering healthy and delicious organic food. A must visit in CdA.
They truly care about using the best organic ingredients. And I also never seen any other place putting so much effort on keeping the nutrition value of their food.
The scrambles and Louisiana Burger are some of my favorites dishes.
Mealks and nut butters are amazing too!

I had a great experience here while on a road trip. Very clean food, and super accommodating for dietary restrictions. The owner checked in with me to make sure they could accommodate my various allergies – great service! I stocked up on a few items from their deli for the road; their almond milk and fig chia pudding are incredible. I’m not sure if they have wifi, but it would be a nice place to do work from in the morning in the spring/summer. Lots of light and a nice atmosphere.

A beautiful and large space, especially love the open air access. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The amazing animal-free vegan food options were all fantastic. Can’t wait to explore the menu more. Highly recommend the mushroom alfredo! Really enjoyed getting a mealkshake for the road too.

Long time Orveganic fan and always lamented their distance from me… Gratefully they are now open in Couer d’Alene – only a one day drive from the raw/vegan food desert that is Seattle! Worth it 100%. Eating whole foods intentionally is a life-changer, and it’s a joy to find a restaurant that lives by the same values. (Also, the food tastes wonderful.)
