Last Sunday I hosted a baby shower for my best friend in the private room at La Plaka and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. We were able to get into the room early to decorate and the servers and owner were all so polite and caring. Everyone ordered off the menu and our food came out quickly. Our group was able to order a variety of breakfasts as well as souvlakis and we all cleaned our plates. The cost was very reasonable and we were able to bring in our own cake for a small fee. The parking lot in the back was really convenient so we weren’t forced to park on Delaware. I’d highly recommend this restaurant for a small party with up to two dozen people.

Old school atmosphere. Excellent chicken souvlaki and the chicken fingers and fries were great too. Finished with a delicious shared ice cream sundae. We enjoyed the friendly staff. Mobility accessible.

Diner experience that was not greasy and solid strength in flavors. Free refills. They do not deliver. Dine in only. Which is great, the cooks can focus on those in the restaurant. The atmosphere was clean and dishware was spotless. Super cute sourdough display with the bread can be made, tee hee.

I love The Plaka, everything is homemade. The soups are fantastic, the skillet scramble a favorite, and fish fry is offered all year round on Fridays. The staff are always friendly!

Restaurant was empty. Ordered an omelette came to over $20.00 . Asked for burnt rye toast didn’t happen. The omelette was ok. Will never go back . What a waste of money. Can’t imagine how they stay in business.

Celebrating a birthday. Great food and as you can see I am definitely a foodie lol. Ordered the skillet scramble delicious. Seems like they have a nice little area for bigger parties or gatherings to enjoy a meal as well. Very decently priced not to expensive and food is of good quality. Check it out if in the area.

We stopped here for a quick breakfast during the Kenmore Farmer’s Market. There was no wait, we were served quickly, and the food was delicious. The staff were so friendly!!! The prices were great, too. I can’t wait to return here.
