The service was very attentive and the food has that “made from scratch” taste and texture. The special on Thursday was chicken fried steak and it was fantastic. I should have taken some dessert to go. Next time!

This is a fantastic small town restaurant. We travel the US mostly Midwest centered for work and encounter all sorts of places to eat. This place absolutely deserves 5 stars. The food is fresh and great portions, they have homemade deserts I highly recommend the Cream Puff! The staff are very friendly and treat everyone like they are from town. We have been there a few days already and they referred to it as “our booth” since we have sat there each time. Must stop and check it out!

I visited PK’s on a Saturday evening with a group of 10+ women from an entrepreneurship program in Lincoln. We were privileged to hear the business’ story from Misty, Genni, and staff and have the opportunity to ask them questions about their journey. After a fruitful conversation, we ordered up a range of food options that did not disappoint. Appetizers were out instantly and hot plates for 10+ followed in less than 15 minutes, even with a crowd. The food was accurate, delicious, and a great value. Prime rib, shrimp, and BBQ ribs come highly recommended from our crew. And don’t forget a slice of pie. A big shoutout to the PK’s team that served us. The place was poppin’ by the time we headed home, so you know it is worth the trip. We will be back!

Our group of 6 stopped here for lunch during our trip from South Texas to South Dakota. We were met with smiling faces and thick Midwest accents. We thoroughly enjoyed the home-cooked meals, fast and friendly service and faith based decor. This was the perfect small town Midwest diner experience.

Went the evening before mothers day. Excellent prime rib and the wifes shrimp was excellent also. Service was superb. Atmosphere was very family oriented. Sounded like home.
