Had lunch here few days ago, and it was absolutely phenomenal. They have one of the best paellas I’ve ever had in my life, and their New England clam chowder and lobster bisque is fantastic. This is a must go to place and I will definitely be promoting you guys in my cooking/ food page called cut loose cooking! I can’t wait to go back. YES IT IS THAT GOOD! . Stopped into PJ Lobster House in Port Jefferson and had such a great experience. My server, Tori, was fantastic, very friendly, attentive, and really on top of everything without ever feeling overbearing. I ordered a mango margarita and the blackened Chilean sea bass, and both were perfect. The margarita was perfect, and the sea bass was buttery smooth with just the right amount of seasoning. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and you can tell they really care about quality here. Overall, everything was spot on and I’d definitely come back.

Best of the best place. Hands down, best sushi in the area. Kenny is amazing – and we don’t go anywhere else to eat sushi. Red dragon roll, Camacho roll are to dieee for!!! Staff is super personable. James, the owner is always there working hard to make sure everyone has a great experience. Most importantly, it’s always spotless clean in there and the food is consistent every single time. Pricing is also great!

What an incredible lunch at the PJ Lobster House today! After driving from Northeastern Pennsylvania to Bridgeport, parking, and taking the roundtrip ferry to Port Jefferson for the day, my decision on where to enjoy lunch was part of the experience. I’m so glad I chose here.
The place was spotlessly clean, the decor was truly upscale but fun, and the server (Mackrnzie) was prompt, personable, and helpful in suggesting what to have for lunch.
The lobster bisque was tasty, and choc full of Lobster. The coconut shrimp entree was enormous (9 huge shrimp), and I chose sweet potato fries and cold slaw as my sides. The dipping sauces for both the shrimp and fries were perfect. All in all a solid 5 of 5. In fact, the only thing that was mildly off-putting was the loud country music playing overhead… country just didn’t seem to match the upscale nautical vibe, but that’s just my opinion.
I would go back in a heartbeat. Highly recommended.

Love it! This restaurant is a must-see if you haven’t been before. The menu is great, the food is even better, and the service is top notch. I really appreciate how knowledgeable and friendly everyone is. It made it fun to try a few things we hadn’t tried before and they were great. Would definitely recommend!

My husband and I had dinner at the bar and had a pleasant experience with the bartender, who was friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout the evening. The restaurant itself is new and nicely done, with an inviting atmosphere.
Unfortunately, the food was a major letdown. Every dish we received—from the appetizers to the soup and entrées—came out cold. I ordered the lobster mac and cheese, which was especially disappointing. It lacked flavor and, combined with being served cold, was honestly unpleasant to eat.
I really wanted to enjoy this place because the service and space show promise, but the food quality needs significant improvement for us to return.

We had the sandwich and soup combos and selected the bisque soup with crab cakes and lobster roll. Also ordered the bucket of clams with white wine garlic sauce. Reeeeallly good flavors from all dishes. Our waitress was excellent, attentive, and friendly. Atmosphere is comfy and clean. The tables that are elevated also offer a great view of the place. Highly recommended for lobster and seafood.

I wandered in Pj Lobster house searching for crab legs. They had quite a few options on the menu. My waiter Sandy was so sweet and patient, she helped me decide which to choose. Oh Boy, was it goooooood! I had the house salad with Caesar dressing, the oyster rockerfella, the king crab legs and the lobster mac n cheese. The seafood was fresh, flavorful and well cooked. My waiter Sandy was very attentive, she kept checking in on me making sure I had all I needed. Pj Lobster is a great restaurant to visit, it’s clean and has a nice atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back. Lots of options on the menu to choose from.

We have been here before loved this place , until recently we went and just had a terrible experience not only were we rushed out of there and it wasn’t busy ,but the food had zero flavor. My husband and i ordered lobster bisque and clam chowder ( tasted watery) and the cold lobster rolls no flavor at all. Our appetizers, entrees and salads all came out at once .
