My friend and I ate breakfast there on Wednesday, October 15. The menu prices were very reasonable. Our waitress was very nice and accommodating. I ordered the Carbonara Scramble which consisted of bacon, sausage, onion and cheddar jack cheese scrambled with 2 eggs. It also came with a slice of toast made from homemade bread. The price was $13.
My friend ordered the Green Chili Omelette consisting of eggs, green chiles, cream cheese, cheddar jack cheese, covered in green chile sauce topped with pico, sour cream and avocado. Her dish also came with the same 2 sides. Both plates were delicious and hit the spot!
We sat in front of a large window which overlooked the beautiful golf course.
We did notice flies on these windows as we ate. That was the downside of our dining experience.
The women’s restroom was closed so the men’s was designated for both men and women. The toilet in the stall I used wasn’t working as well as it should have so there might be a sewage issue???

We had the Dolce & Gabbana pizza, the pepperoni pizza and Lobster ravioli dish. Everything was delicious. Best pizza we have had in a long time. Friendly atmosphere and beautiful on the inside.

We had the bruschettaa trio app, the bolognese and the shrimp fra diavolo as well as several different wines and creme brulee for dessert and it was amazing. The day and view were beautiful, the service was great (thanks zack). It was a great experience and would highly reccomend to anyone in the mesa area. They have a gluten free menue also for future reference. This is a gem for sure!!

Went for dinner Monday 12/29/25. Food was pretty good, but not great. Server was pretty good. Atmosphere was leaving a little to be desired. I made a reservation for my parents, my daughter in from Seattle, and myself and while again the food was pretty good, and the server was good, the busser creeped us all out big time. He would come to the table, not say a word and stand there with his arms out, expecting us to collect and hand him everything. And when I thanked him, he said, “this ain’t chik fil a bro”. I am old enough to be this kids dad, and he calls me bro, and seems to lurk over the table like he was trying to be intimidating. Vitos is better and has a much more comfortable environment. The kid also mentioned he had been bussing tables for 16 years, so I hope he is family to the owner or, well…..great job buddy. Just bad impression after that from this place, probably won’t be back. Too bad because we really were looking forward to it

We love Pizzacta and have been coming here anytime we’re craving authentic Italian food. We didn’t realize it was under new ownership until last night, but everything tastes exactly the same—which we love. The new décor gives the restaurant a warm, inviting feel, and the service was great and very prompt.
We ordered the Neapolitana Travolta pizza, the Regina Margherita pizza, and the linguine shrimp fra diavolo with chicken—everything was excellent. We will definitely be back to try breakfast!

Both styles of pizza were bad, undercooked, not even good leftover and overpriced. Cesar salad came with a different dressing when we asked for some extra. Very large salad with very little dressing. Service and atmosphere were great.

Brand new spot in Mesa right by the Westgate Painted Mountain Golf Resort, and it’s already one of my favorites. My wife and I have known the owner, Stephanie, for a while — she was our go-to server at a couple other restaurants, and when we found out she and her husband opened this place, we had to follow her. Service has always been top notch, and it’s no different here.
The food? Literally. Everything is cooked in a legit wood-fired oven, and you can taste the difference. Pizzas, calzones, fine wines — all done right. They’ve also got indoor and outdoor seating, and the atmosphere is classy without being pretentious. Think first date or anniversary dinner vibe, but also big enough to host large parties.
Prices are reasonable — a little more than your chain diners, but not as pricey as the big steakhouses. Definitely worth it for the quality and the service you’re getting.
Big bonus: they’ve got Luca, a real Italian guy with the accent and everything. Makes the place feel authentic, like you’re getting the full Italian experience right here in Mesa.
Only thing I’d tweak? The menu is a little hard to read — but my wife says I’m just being picky and that it’s classy, so I’ll let that slide.
Overall, highly recommend checking out Pizzicata. Great food, great people, great vibe. This place is going to be a Mesa staple.

We were here for a week on a girls trip staying at the condos next door. We had such exceptional service and incredibly delicious food every time we ate here that this has been our go-to place. Breakfast choices of which we’ve tasted each have been exceptional! And the dinners and drinks were superb as well. Four women on a girls trip could perhaps be problematic, however, we all had the same exceptional experience here! Thank you for making us feel so welcome. We will be back!

The food was SO bad! We ordered the chicken piccata and it was the worst I’ve ever had. The Diablo shrimp spicy pasta tasted like ragú sauce without seasoning. The service was great and the manager was amazing but the food was so bad, not even adding salt and a ton of powdered cheese fixed the bland food. We went because of the good reviews but I’m not sure what people tried that was actually decent. Not even the pepperoni pizza was good.

This was my 1st visit there – the menu looked enticing. I made reservations & it’s good that I did. There was live music on the patio & the place was full!
The service was just a bit slow – but it was very busy. Luckily the owner – Stephanie came & took our order.
The Pinsa pizza was amazing! We shared the Delicato. For dinner, we shared the Ravioli Fantasia. The chicken was tender & the sauce delicious.
I will be back – – soon! Way to go Pizzicata!
