First time here. Came from 2 hours away at the game. As we walked in we were greeted. In originally from Jersey and anyone knows its hard to find good pizza. We’ll this far exceeded my hopes. Delicious! Ernesto was one who greeted us and he was super friendly and actually told us story how the place became. Truly a pleasure. When im back in area we will definitely be visiting again!

We got the 18 inch pepperoni pizza. Pizza was a solid New York style pizza. Not very thin and not to heavy. Great mix of dough and cheese. The taste was great and the italian seasoning added a nice touch. A great sharing pizza.

The best pizza spot around by far!! 10/10 recommend to anyone and everyone. All of their food is so yummy and fresh. Go grab a bite and say hi to the most friendly staff. We look forward to their speciality pies (this one is our favorite right now, hot honey and bacon) . Place is clean and they put care into every order we’ve ever had. We are from NY and have tried so many places in the CLT area. Sapienzas is the best by far!!

Delicious New York Style Pizza & Hoagies/Subs! I’ve spent months out of the year in New York as well as Philadelphia and have lived in Charlotte for 16+ years now and this is one of my new favorite pizza spots in Charlotte for a quality NY Style Pizza. The crust is perfectly thin with the right amount of crunch and the perfect ratio of sauce and cheese. The flavor of the cheese is fantastic with the right level of thickness for a NY Style pizza. The crust has the right amount of crunch and is what you want in a NY style pizza. My father is from Philly so I genuinely can’t compare the chicken Philly Cheese steak to one from Philly, but the ingredients were quality and fresh, the bread was nicely crunchy on the outside while still maintaining the soft middle, and the pepper jack cheese was perfectly melted to cover the entire surface of the meat and veggies, holding them in nicely and adding food flavor to every bite, even if just eating the end bread piece. I was not able to try the wings on this visit but I will definitely try them next along with the calzone. The staff was extremely friendly and even asked questions like how I wanted the pizza which I greatly appreciate since I like my pizza with a little more crisp than others might, so he even asked if I wanted it a little crispier and if I wanted mayo on the bun of my chicken pilly hoagie. I would absolutely go back to this place for delicious New York style pizza.

I am a Uber driver and Ernesto ordered a Uber for his beautiful wife, and we got to talking about the pizza… I got me one once I completed the ride and I was not disappointed. Huge slices.. and delicious. (Sauce was great). Most of all the service was A-1. They are a beautiful couple… Go check them out and tell the Uber driver sent you!

Nice cozy but small pizza place. Was born and raised in Jersey City and I tell you, this is genuine east coast NY NJ pizza. Nicholas has amazing customer service and the wings are perfect . Military friendly ( they support their troops) and will definitely come again.

This is great pizza. I have reviews of pizza in Detroit, Chicago, and NYC. This is pound for pound as good as any of those locations. Top pizzas place I have had on Charlotte by far. Top 10 overall pizzas. See the photo below. The pizza was made correctly. No bubbles. Even cheese dispersement. This is a piece that obviously cares more and quality than random frills

This place has always been a go to at the uptown location . Went to the dilworth location today and The people that work here are world class and the pizza , is just excellent . If I could give it 10 stars I could . And no one told me to leave this review just and I don’t leave reviews in general but it’s much well deserved . If you’re looking for a good New York slice or just pizza this is it . Best pizza in Charlotte , hands down .
