Outstanding Italian Gem in Geneva’s Old Town

This Italian restaurant in Geneva’s Old Town is an absolute must. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels cozy, authentic, and perfectly in tune with the historic surroundings.

The burrata pizza was exceptional and perfectly baked crust, high-quality ingredients, and a burrata that was unbelievably fresh and creamy, it feels like you’re eating it in Napoli. The homemade-style lasagna was equally impressive: rich, comforting, and clearly made with care, just like something you’d expect from a family kitchen in Italy. Deep flavors, generous portions, and absolutely delicious.

What truly elevated the experience, though, was Jerome, our server. Jerome was phenomenal, attentive without being intrusive, genuinely kind, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. He made us feel welcome from start to finish, offered great recommendations, and ensured everything was perfect throughout the meal. Service like his turns a great dinner into a memorable one.

If you’re looking for authentic Italian food, outstanding service, and a warm atmosphere in the heart of Geneva, this place delivers on every level. We will absolutely be back—and we hope Jerome is there to welcome us again.

This place is great. Although I find that there isn’t many food options and the ones they have are pretty basics for the price. But still tastes great. I don’t recommend ordering the raviolis if you’re hungry because it costs around 24 CHF for 5 small raviolis. Also, the server was friendly.

This is my FAVOURITE Italian restaurant in Geneva. I eat here whenever I’m in the city. I’ve also visited the flagship Molino in Rome, but Geneva is still my favourite.

The pizza and crust is perfection and the cheesecake is incredible. I’ve also enjoyed vegetarian spaghetti with fresh tomatoes, basil, sauce, and olive oil.

The staff are friendly and the service has always been good. If I could fly halfway across the world every week I would, just to eat here.

Extremely expensive for the quality of food you’ll get. Pizza dough is nothing extraordinary. I had a Minestrone soup that was not bad, but that did not remind of of Minestrone soups I had in Italy for instance. Anyway, it’s a good pick for a quick business lunch. Hospitality and service, on the other hand, were very good.

A bit of a posh Italian location that is a bit hyped, but kind of a let down to be honest. The waiters were so bland and direct, kind of rude. The food was very mediocre, not worth the money you spend there. Been there, done that wont revisit.

Amazing atmosphere, great food and such warm and friendly servers that always ensure we are well taken care of. Heard it’s one of the best Italian food around and I can agree to that. Will be back again definitely when i am in geneva

I’m lactose intolerant and had the Rossa pizza, it was very nice.

I don’t remember paying for water in Zurich or Lucerne & if you do it’s usually bottled but here unfortunately looks like you may be paying 2chf person or 4chf for a pitcher.

A restaurant you can walk into and likely get a table while having late hours and is very clean and modern inside

Landed in Geneva on Christmas day and decided to have our Christmas dinner here. Ordered their salmon tagliatelle and risotto – honestly they were too strong for our taste. Service was reallllly slow – from asking for a menu, getting our orders taken to having our bills… The dining experience was off-beat.

I recently dined at Pizzeria Ristorante Molino Molard and had a mixed experience that left me feeling lukewarm about the establishment. While there were some positive aspects, the overall visit was underwhelming.

The service was adequate – not particularly impressive, but not problematic either. The staff was reasonably attentive and orders were taken and delivered without major delays. However, there wasn’t much warmth or personality that would make the dining experience memorable.

The restaurant offers a decent ambiance that works well for a casual meal. The space is comfortable enough for conversation, and the overall vibe is pleasant without being particularly distinctive or charming.

Unfortunately, this is where Molino Molard falls short. The food quality was disappointing and clearly needs significant improvement. Whether it was the pizza or other dishes, the flavors were lackluster and the execution felt careless. For a restaurant that presumably specializes in Italian cuisine, the food failed to meet even basic expectations.
