I used to love this place for its thin crust pizza, but this time it wasn’t quite as satisfying. The margherita was good, but the featured pasta didn’t have much flavour and was a bit too oily. The featured pizza was nice, but the Panna e Pancetta was disappointing. I remember really liking it before, but this time it was too creamy without actual taste, with hardly any leek flavour and just some pieces of pancetta on top. I might stick with the Fort Street branch next time.

For someone who isn’t usually a huge fan of authentic Italian pizza, Pizzeria Prima Strada was fantastic! The staff were friendly and attentive, the service was great, and everything felt welcoming. The ingredients were fresh and flavorful, the pizza was perfectly cooked, and the beer selection was awesome. Definitely a spot I’d come back to!

Tried Prima Strada on Cook St again and wow, they never disappoint! Honestly, I don’t even know how to explain it their pizza. It’s just pure magic. Super tasty & traditional Italian-style pizza that you must have to try. If you haven’t, you’re seriously missing out!

We also had pasta, and it was delicious too i was so into eating that I forgot to take a pic .
Highly recommend this place every single time!

I was at the Beagle Pub having a beer and suddenly saw the small board for wood-fired pizza. I just went there and had the best pizza of my life. I tried the Capriccio Verde and the Funghi Supremo. The staff was amazing, and Jenna served us the best pizza with her recommendation.

This is the best place for pizza on the whole island. Their pizza and oils are really good. Now it will be my weekend place.
I tried pasta as well forgot the name but taste

We had such a great experience at Pizzeria Prima Strada! The firewood pizza was absolutely delicious —> perfectly thin crust with that amazing smoky flavor you only get from a wood-fired oven. The ingredients tasted fresh and high quality, and the balance of flavors was just right.

The atmosphere was cozy and lively, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. It felt like a true Italian pizza experience. If you love authentic wood-fired pizza, this is definitely the place to go. We’ll be back for sure.

Was able to walk in without a reservation for supper and sit at the counter, watching pizza preparation in front of the woodburning pizza oven.
Watching the preparation, I was impressed with the food quality and careful work of the sous chefs.
I opted for meatballs and found it was a reasonable portion and I ate all of it.
Service was prompt and everyone was friendly inside with a pleasant vibe. This is a neighbourhood restaurant so pretty casual atmosphere and some families.

First time stumbling across this place, pretty great overall! Ordered the spaghetti and meatballs, which was pretty generic, and could’ve used a little cheesy garnish, but overall, ok. The pizza, however was fabulous! A nice authentic wood fired crust, thin crust, crispy with a nice toothy chew to it. Nicely done, topped well. A great classic representation! The place has a cool vibe, casual, friendly and welcoming. A definite place to try again!

I love a wood fire pizza. I’ve been to both locations in Victoria and both are top notch. Thin crust. Fresh toppings I had the Margherita. It was tasty. I’ll definitely have to come back to try something new!

Excellent first impression! On a busy Friday night we only had to wait 5-10 minutes for a table. The service was amazing and our food was delectable. Two pizzas and a salad. Yum! I will definitely be returning! Highly recommended!!
