Food was very good and perfectly seasoned. Chicken Parm was great and Macaroni was really good as well. Service was very quick staff was all nice. It can get quite loud because of the small dining area, but not overbearing.

While I think their food is is on average quite good I had a dish that I truly did not like today. It was the chili chicken Alfredo lasagna. They add a lot of mozzarella cheese to it. It wasn’t as much of lasagna as it was a pile of melted cheese. The taste was fine but it was literally like eating a fondue. After a few bites it was just too much cheese. I think the lasagna noodles completely became mush and disappeared within that recipe.

We had to have a quick lunch and drove by here, and said give it a try. SO happy we did it. Quick, quick service and they were slammed that day. I got one of the specials with prosciutto which I thought wod be super thin so I asked for more and it was intense but really good. Fresh made, quickly, tasty and presentable. Will be coming back here often.

Some of the better Italian food I’ve had in Albuquerque – which unfortunately isn’t saying a lot. I’ve only had a few dishes; I want to go back several more times. It was that good.
Easy to park, nice people, the table setup isn’t ideal in you’re either next to a wall or next to an aisle that people walk up and down constantly. But it’s worth it.

I love going to Lucas and I especially like the chili chicken Alfredo lasagna. They have changed it and it has way too much cheese. The visual is not fabulous like it used to b. It comes in a bowl now. I was very disappointed. It used to b my favorite. The eggplant was delicious and the chocolate cake was out of this world.

Been here 3 times in the last 2 months. Everything on the menu has been incredible from the salads/apps to start and entrees (clam linguini, pesto sandwich & calzone). The bar staff is very friendly with tasty cocktails to offer. Recommend ending with a cannoli each time.

First time dining here. Service was great, thanks April. The food was great. Enjoyed salad, several appetizers, and main dishes. Party of four, so tried many things. Including dessert. The only thing that was a surprise, the lava cake was frozen….but the cannoli was outstanding.

This place looks like an authentic Italian restaurant but looks can be deceiving. I ate here twice in the last month or so and found the food both times leaving much to be desired. First of all, the sauce with the linguine with red clam sauce was extremely thin, more like soup than sauce. Secondly, the lasagna was among the worst I have had in Albuquerque. It was lacking in flavor and was just an amorphous glob of pasta and meat. I have even had better at some of the chains. Service was okay but a little on the slow side. This place looks like the real deal when you walk in but my experience suggests otherwise. This restaurant appears to be popular and was crowded when I was there but unfortunately I cannot recommend it. I don’t like giving bad reviews to local restaurants and feel I am being reasonable by giving it three stars, since there are many items on the menu I have not tried.

Luca runs a great happy hour menu and has a nice cozy atmosphere at the bar counter or tables. You can have a good variety of small plates to share with friends or family. I found the customers seated at the bar counter to be very friendly.

I’ve eaten there twice now, and it’s been outstanding both times. Very upscale local authentic Italian pizza and pasta restaurant and bar. My daughter devoured the mozzarella sticks and meatball calzone. I can’t stop thinking about the eggplant parm! Best Cesar dressing, and the Calamari came with the freshest house made pesto in addition to marinara. It’s definitely a bustling atmosphere, but a great place for a family meal or casual date night. I’ll be back whenever I’m in town.
