Pretty standard fare. Got the 2 slice + knots for $5 special. At that price you kinda assume the risk that the food might not be great. This slice was decent but too much sauce not enough cheese to balance it out. Crust was pretty solid. The garlic knots were a lil too on the herby side not enough garlic/butter – the texture, however, was spot on. Chewy and moist.

So I thought this was brick oven pizza and I was extremely happy only to arrive and see the pizza and looking at it you knew it wasn’t ♂️
With that being said it wasn’t bad price is good. Just nothing what I thought it would be. Uptown still slacking on a really good thin crispy old school slice. But this place ain’t bad for locals.
Definitely not worth traveling too. But worth ordering. They gave me free garlic knots and I must say they were really good liked them better than the pizza. If I return I’ll be definitely trying some of there subs and having the Knoks again loved it

Definitely not an old school NY pizza slice. It was decent and I agree with the other reviewer who suggested adding salt. Once I did that it was more tolerable. Probably wouldn’t come back though.

Ordered two 12 inch pizzas for delivery and a cream soda, and I got 2 small 9-10 inch pizzas with the wrong cream soda. They sent me a orange cream soda. The delivery guy also didn’t have change, and when I called back to resolve this issue the lady on the phone said there was no mistake with the order and they couldn’t give me my money back. I get put on hold as she tells me let me speak with my advisor because the owner isn’t in today.
Eventually she says if you want your money back you’re gonna have to bring it back. And I said can’t you bring back the same delivery guy and she didn’t acknowledge that. So I go back and return it and the clerk gives me my money back but I’m still missing the tip I gave to the delivery person.
So he tells me that it’s the delivery’s money and he doesn’t know. He gets the delivery guy his name is junior from what I heard and this guy starts giving crazy attitude for the whole situation. Everything was smooth and fine until he started telling me but what happened with the pizza and the delivery. I simply said this was smaller than we expected and I got the wrong soda as well so I just want my money back. And he starts bugging out telling me he wasted time and going to my apartment for the order and I tell him I understand that and I’m sorry this is just and inconvenience; he was acting like this was on purpose. Then he starts asking me what does he do with the pizza and I tell him I don’t know my man that’s for you to decide. I get the exact cash I paid with back and ok everything is settled.
But as I am leaving the store he starts getting more disrespectful saying in Spanish “what am I going to do with the pizzas shove it up my” you know what. I go back in telling him alright bro you don’t have to do all that. That’s bad customer service and no need to get disrespectful. He then tells me not to order again and I said oh really? Also very unnecessary and I said trust me I won’t if this is how you’re representing this business. Just a weird interaction no need to lose your cool over a misunderstanding/return order.
Shoutout to the other guy who attended me first he was cool about everything and didn’t get disrespectful to a customer.
I had came here two times before to grab a few slices and a drink everything smooth, dude even gave me a discount once cuz he didn’t have regular slices available.
Won’t be coming back here as a local and it sucks cuz I did like the pizza too.

Quick, nice staff, and quality food. The pizza and toppings are always fresh. The crust and sauce are perfect—not too thick, not too thin. I always order a custom pizza and they never mess up my order. Reasonable prices with fast delivery and pick up. Definitely my favorite pizza spot in the area!

Stopped in initially for a couple of slices. My cheese and Margherita slices were cut from pies just out of the brick oven. They were delicious!
I decided to order the Tricolore salad and a pasta with olive oil, garlic, broccoli rabe and sausage to go.

After coming for years, getting to know the owner, I can say confidently that L’Antica is some of the best NYC style pizza in the Heights. They treat people well and provide a great deal. Two slices and garlic knots for $5 cannot be beaten in a 20-block radius!

They’re nice folks and all but man: idk what’s going on over there. The dough didn’t use to be so bready and dense; they’ve sent us a pepperoni pizza without the pepperoni; and today they send us these “chicken tenders” that are like… frozen chicken patties cut in half??
