Quick disclaimer—this restaurant seemed to be incredibly under staffed with only 3 wait staff for the entire restaurant. For this reason, I will refrain from reviewing their customer service. I will say that the wait staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Now…about the food—we had calamari and garlic knots for the appetizer. While the calamari flavor was ok, they were severely undercooked and therefore chewy. The garlic knots were ok. My daughter loved them. I did appreciate the presence of real garlic and the bread did taste as though it had just been baked. Now onto the entrees. I hate to say this, but I honestly had the worst meatball sandwich I’ve ever had. There was very little to no flavor, and the flavor that did exist was not very palatable. Too much cheese, flavorless sauce, and bland meatballs. I’ve honestly had better meatball subs at subway… My husband had the vegetarian pizza. I tried it and it wasn’t bad. It was actually ok—about a 6 out of 10. The crust was just way too thin for the ingredients and please keep in mind, we didn’t add anything. These are the ingredients that come with. I also would highly recommend against using salad tomatoes to top a vegetarian pizza, and perhaps, instead, more thinly sliced tomatoes. The flavor wasn’t bad though. Prepare to eat it with a knife and fork. My kids had the pepperoni and basil pizza and they loved it. They gave it an 8 out of 10. For this reason, as well as the fact that the wait staff were super nice when they were able to come to the table—I’m giving this restaurant a 2 star instead of 1. I was dissatisfied enough to not visit this restaurant again in the future.

I recently dined at Maria’s Italian Kitchen in Pasadena and I have to say, it was an amazing experience. The restaurant has a warm and inviting atmosphere, with charming decor and a friendly staff. From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was transported to a cozy Italian trattoria. The menu had a wide variety of traditional Italian dishes, all of which looked delicious. I ended up ordering the chicken Marsala and it was absolutely delicious, with tender chicken and a rich Marsala wine sauce. The portion was large and satisfying. The service was attentive and friendly throughout the meal. The prices were very reasonable for the quality of the food. I would highly recommend Maria’s Italian Kitchen to anyone looking for a delicious and authentic Italian meal in a lovely setting.

If you are in the mode for your mom’s homemade pasta this is the place to be. I always order the spaghetti with claims. I always try to get something seafood. You can never go wrong with claims. The white sauce and the broth was so rich in flavor. It was a bonus that they were not stingy with the claims. There were more than 20 claims in my pasta and I’m not complaining. Everything I order here is so amazing. Sad thing…my family was so hungry that we didn’t take a picture of everything. Hahahahah that’s always my problem.

I was traveling for a few days to Los Angeles from the Gulf Coast of Florida and we have great restaurants many amazing Italian restaurants but by far this was not only one of my top 10 favorite restaurants ever it was the best Italian dinner I’ve ever had and some of the chefs that are running some Italian restaurants over here couldn’t hold a candle to your chef and the service was spot on I wish I could return but the memory and the flavors and the exact amount of spices was just terrific.

This is our go to spot for pasta dishes. The clam spaghetti is our favorite. We usually order take out, so I can’t comment on the service. The staff that I’ve interacted with while picking up food have been really friendly.

I love this place. Great location, they have much more parking in the rear than the front. Service is stellar, but the interior needs a revamp. The food is sensational. I did have to ask for more marinara sauce, other than that no issues. Desserts were also top notch, the cappuccino was lovely. We’ll be back most assuredly.

UPDATE: Today I returned to Maria’s and ordered the egg plant Parmesan. My mom used to prepare this dish and it was amazing. Maria’s was even better than mom’s. The sauce was rich in flavor and the cheese atop the egg plant was perfect. Everything I have ever ordered at Maria’s is excellently prepared. They have phenomenal chef’s.
