Food: We had a fantastic meal! The pasta and ravioli were delicious, tasted incredibly fresh, and the portion sizes were very generous for the price. The pizza was solid, but the standout was definitely the Tiramisu—it’s a must-order and something we’d come back for alone!

Ambiance: The atmosphere is lovely with a unique mix of old and new. They’ve repurposed old sewing machines into tables, which is such a creative touch.

Service: The staff are very kind and welcoming, though they seem a bit green and could use a little more training/experience in professional serving. Overall, a great spot that I’d recommend!

The only downside is the lack of dedicated parking; finding a spot on the street can be quite a challenge.

Went here last December 8 for dinner with my girlfriend. Upon arrival we were guided, greeted, and assisted by a waiter when I was parking. Parking is kinda hard if the place is busy, since it can only occupy a number of vehicles. However, there are alternative parking options nearby. Service is great (I’m not sure about the reviews of the bad service, maybe it has improved since those reviews were from 10 months ago).

The food was served fast, less than 30 minutes since we ordered it was already served hot. We ordered Ravioli, Shrimp Pasta, Chicken Fingers, and Prosciutto Crudo. The pasta was the dish we enjoyed the most, it is authentic Italian, and every aspect of the pasta tasted fresh. The chicken fingers were great, including their dip. The pizza was not so special, it’s very simple, it is authentic, and you can tell the dough was fresh and handmade.

This is not a place you should go to if you want big serving sizes, though we were full because the pasta is very filling. The serving portions are not like other restaurants. You should go here if you want delicious and authentic Italian food.

We had dined here a couple of times and I would say they are consistent with their servings and taste. Its a very nice themed italian restaurant in which they are located on a restored house. Location was excellent as well but parking is very difficult because they only have few spaces in front. The food was great, not perfectly italian but its a good alternative. Prices are ok, not too expensive.

Pizzeria Il Postino Pizza Napoletana. The name itself evokes images of a seaside view in Italy. And scenes from the recent Netflix series Ripley. This new Italian restaurant is often associated with the rock band vocalist Wency Cornejo of After Image fame. For history buffs, this place was once the famous Castillo Photo Studio.

The place is ideal for small groups and intimate dine ins. If you will be coming as a relatively large group, you can call and inquire ahead to know if you can be accommodated. Any of the pizzas being offered is sure to be a treat. You can couple that with a hot or cold drink from the Bean Tower coffee counter also found inside the place. It would be interesting to know if one can actually tour the upper floors or if they are open for dining in customers.

Fair warning to visitors as parking is definitely difficulty. You can park, if there are spaces along Paseo Escudero Street, same as street as Jollibee San Pablo Plaza Branch, or on the parking slots of Jollibee itself, if you can bear taking the space from their customers. Alternatively, you can park, for a fee, on the grounds of the nearby San Pablo Cathedral.

Went last night with my cousins and the food was absolutely awesome. Pizzas were just the right size, the ravioli was awesome. Only “complaint”was we ordered one pasta dish with basil. For me, the pasta was a bit hard BUT it was my first time trying, so it may be served that way.
Service was AWESOME, atmosphere was pretty cool. Very very happy and will definitely return again
HIGHLY recommend

Ordered Carbonara, Ragu Bolognese, Quattro Formaggi, Margherita, Tiramisu, and Americano. I can’t justify the price of the food, given that I had tasted better Italian food served locally that are more affordable.

Ragu was sour and salty. Quattro Formaggi was too wet and soggy. The rest were decent.

Their dining tables are repurposed, it is the table used by tailors. These are too small and make noise when you step on the pedal. Chairs make too much noise as well.

Place is a bit cramped and isn’t car-friendly. Street isn’t wide. If you have a small car, you will be fine but if you bring SUV/Pick-up, you may find parking a bit challenging.

On payment, bring cash. They don’t accept cards.

The experience is not worth the pay. When we first entered the restaurant it was fine as the food was good but a bit pricey. However, what made it worse was the service since they didn’t inform us that there was a separate cutoff time when ordering coffee from the restaurant nor provided any further assistance when we were eating. Overall, the food is good which is ironic to the service they provide. Would not recommend.
