This was my third time ordering here. The first two times were good, but this time they really messed up my whole order. The kids’ pizza came out completely overcooked and burnt, and the butter chicken naan pizza had no chicken at all, even though the menu picture clearly shows it should. When I called, they just said they “changed the recipe,” but that’s not what’s advertised. The only one that came out right was the paneer pizza.

I don’t want to sound like the bad guy, but it is what it is — if I’m paying my money, I expect to get what’s shown and what I ordered. Everybody was waiting on the pizza, and then we opened the boxes to find this. That’s just not a good experience.

This place is a gem! The whole Pizza/Indian fusion is what I’ve been missing! I wish we had one here in Sicklerville NJ. I’ll be back again when I’m in Cherry Hill.

I was genuinely excited to discover that there’s a Pizza Twist location only about 15 minutes from me. When I checked out the menu, I was impressed. They offer some really interesting specialty pizzas, especially the Indian-style options. I’ve had tandoori pizza at many other non–Pizza Twist locations and really enjoyed it, so I know what a good one is supposed to taste like. That’s exactly why I was excited to try theirs. I also ordered a classic pepperoni pizza.

Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing from start to finish.

When I went in to pick up the order, the interaction at the counter felt very impersonal. I paid, and the pizza was brought out and handed to me without any greeting or acknowledgment. The person assisting seemed very disinterested, as though they did not want to be there. The exchange felt dull and purely transactional, almost like picking something up from a self-serve shelf rather than visiting a restaurant.

To be fair, the restaurant itself appeared clean and organized. The dining area was tidy, there were condiments available, and it had the standard casual pizza diner feel. The atmosphere was probably the best part of the visit.

The tandoori pizza was probably the worst pizza I’ve ever had. I don’t say that lightly because I love pizza and I’ll usually eat just about anything. The texture was completely mushy, and there was an overwhelming amount of what tasted like a mayonnaise-style sauce. It was so heavy and soggy that I could barely get through one slice. The overall ingredients didn’t taste fresh, and the toppings felt overly processed rather than quality cuts you would expect. I ended up throwing the entire pizza away.

The pepperoni pizza wasn’t much better. It lacked flavor and balance, and I was surprised that even a classic option didn’t turn out well.

I was really hoping this would become a regular spot for me, especially with the unique Indian-inspired options, but after this experience I won’t be returning. That said, everyone’s taste is different, so you may want to try it for yourself and see what you think.

Food was alright, it is what’d you expect from the name, pizza with twist (of Indian). Place was very clean and bright.

Boneless, BBQ Dry Rub, BBQ Sauce – just chicken nuggets. Would not get again.

Butter Chicken Pizzatwist, Chicken Tikka Masala Pizzatwist, Shahi Paneer Naan Pizza – honestly couldn’t really tell the difference. They might’ve had slight different species, but they all looked very similar and weren’t labeled so eating back and forth between them mixed the tastes.

Mango Lassi – nice, what you’d expect

Free parking lot, kid friendly.

We recently tried Pizza Twist. The Masala Fries Twist weren’t really for us — it had too much red sauce for our taste. However, we did enjoy the Indian Garlic Veggie Pizza and the Chicken Tikka Masala Pizza. The chicken was soft and flavorful, and the pizza thickness was just right. Overall, the pizzas were decent. Nothing too special, but worth trying if you’re craving Indian-style pizza flavors.

Nightmare experience as a vegetarian. My gobi manchurian pizza was made with chicken. I showed the staff member that it didn’t look like gobi manchurian but she confirmed it was. I left and shortly after she called stating it was actually made with chicken. She apologized and offered to make me a new pizza. Absolutely terrible experience! Overall not the best customer service either. Would not recommend

I visited this place after seeing some Instagram reels. However, I had already tried pizza twists in the Edison, New Jersey area. This one, by far, is the best pizza twist I’ve ever had. From the service to the food quality and quantity, it’s amazing. I’ll definitely be coming back again. The owner even had me try the achari paneer twistadilla, which was actually really good.

The pizza is unique and fresh! There are many toppings you can get creative with and a lot of Indian influences as well. If you’re in the area, I would definitely recommend checking them out. It is a bit on the pricier end (10 inches was around $14.00), but it’s worth the try at least once.
