I don’t want to sound like the bad guy, but it is what it is — if I’m paying my money, I expect to get what’s shown and what I ordered. Everybody was waiting on the pizza, and then we opened the boxes to find this. That’s just not a good experience.
Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing from start to finish.
When I went in to pick up the order, the interaction at the counter felt very impersonal. I paid, and the pizza was brought out and handed to me without any greeting or acknowledgment. The person assisting seemed very disinterested, as though they did not want to be there. The exchange felt dull and purely transactional, almost like picking something up from a self-serve shelf rather than visiting a restaurant.
To be fair, the restaurant itself appeared clean and organized. The dining area was tidy, there were condiments available, and it had the standard casual pizza diner feel. The atmosphere was probably the best part of the visit.
The tandoori pizza was probably the worst pizza I’ve ever had. I don’t say that lightly because I love pizza and I’ll usually eat just about anything. The texture was completely mushy, and there was an overwhelming amount of what tasted like a mayonnaise-style sauce. It was so heavy and soggy that I could barely get through one slice. The overall ingredients didn’t taste fresh, and the toppings felt overly processed rather than quality cuts you would expect. I ended up throwing the entire pizza away.
The pepperoni pizza wasn’t much better. It lacked flavor and balance, and I was surprised that even a classic option didn’t turn out well.
I was really hoping this would become a regular spot for me, especially with the unique Indian-inspired options, but after this experience I won’t be returning. That said, everyone’s taste is different, so you may want to try it for yourself and see what you think.
Boneless, BBQ Dry Rub, BBQ Sauce – just chicken nuggets. Would not get again.
Butter Chicken Pizzatwist, Chicken Tikka Masala Pizzatwist, Shahi Paneer Naan Pizza – honestly couldn’t really tell the difference. They might’ve had slight different species, but they all looked very similar and weren’t labeled so eating back and forth between them mixed the tastes.
Mango Lassi – nice, what you’d expect
Free parking lot, kid friendly.
