This used to be my favorite pizza in Levittown, Since the business was sold about a year ago, it’s gone down hill. It’s now one of the worst in Levittown. I want to preface this with the fact that I’ve been walking to pizza star since I was 12. That was now 14 years ago and I’ve never seen a restaurant go downhill as much as this. Ever since the new horrible owner bought it, everything on the menu is worse and by a lot. I’ve probably ordered over 200 pizzas from here and even though most of the staff has stayed the same, the quality of the ingredients has clearly gone downhill with the new owner. I wouldn’t even give this pizza to children it’s so bad. I wish the new owner would just buy the old ingredients and have the same cooks make it the same. It’s horrible, you’ve ruined the name and it’s garbage that’s not worth buying. Please make it the old way or just shut this now horrible business down. No one that I’ve talked to wants this garbage here in Levittown.

Last few reviews have been negative. I don’t know why. I was super hungry and pulled up to get a cheese steak with provolone and for around $10, BOY it hit. The sub was cris, every bite. Perfect amount of mayo and honey mustard to complement the beef. Also got fried onions and tomatoes. Will be back to try the pizza

Margarita was ok but a plain cheese pie was……not good. As soon as you pick up the slice you can tell it’s loaded with cheese by how heavy it is. Then you try it and wow. Loaded cheese and not in a good way.

I am torn. I do not have much of an appetite and only eat once every 36-48hrs so its important i enjoy what i eat. I got a cheesesteak here not to long ago & it was really good, one of the best i ever had. But two weeks ago i got one and the roll was soggy which was disappointing. I want to go back & try it again, since there is definitely potential to be a great cheesesteak

CHAOS! Absolute CHAOS! This place is horrible with worst staff. We ordered pizza for pickup around 4.30pm and were told 20 mins we went there after 5 and this place had people who had ordered at 3pm still in line. We waited close to 40mins to get an incorrect order Veggie pizza without veggies but at that point we were so tired of waiting we took whatever we got. Staff was unapologetic to everyone Never going back.

Came here from NE Philly and I LOVED everything! I ordered a Slice of Pizza, a cheesesteak with extra cheese and an order of fries and everything was DELICIOUS!!! The cheesesteak was cooked perfectly, they cooked the cheese into the meat! YUM!!! The fries were crispy and perfect! And they have ample seating for everyone. Definitely will be making this place my regular go to!

Prior to the sale of the business it’s always been 5 star maintained originality and simplistic charm.
The staff and service is still great, the pizza still the same however the noticeable difference for me has been:
1) French fries have changed. Previously a thick, straight cut to now a crinkle cut. While the cut isn’t a big stretch, the taste is off and unfortunately the once tried and true meals feel lacking.
2) The BREAD roll for sandwiches have changed. The roll is soft and not as “crusty/flaky” in a good Philly way. This might be improved only slightly if the rolls were warmed or toasted to firm up. However, I feel like I’m getting a steak um on a Walmart bakery bread roll.
I understand cost cutting especially when transitioning new ownership but it’s the little things that count for a place that’s served Levittown for several decades.

I absolutely love this store and hate they don’t deliver. I wish they would because I’d order probably 5x more that I normally do and I go there a lot. Everyone there is so nice and professional. They have great attitudes and are willing to help any way they can. I cannot get enough of this place. My absolute favorite are the cheese fries. I had an issue with my phone getting wet so it wouldn’t work and they were so kind to let me use the phone that was behind the counter to try and call my husband to order me an Uber home. He didn’t answer and they called for me again because I cannot dial the number because the phones are far behind the counter. They are just so pleasant there and I would recommend any and everyone to go there and try their food. I’ve never had not 1 thing that I didn’t like or was not satisfied with. This place is great
