Back! Pizza Rox FTW!
Not what they used to be like. We used to absolutely love them and ordered from them at least once a week. Quality of ingredients, presentation, and attention to detail have all gone down significantly. Our most recent (and now our last order with them) arrived with crawling baby roaches out of the pizza boxes, missed paid for ingredients, and was presented so poorly without any care. So sad and frustrating. I hope they contact us to make it right, as you can’t call or message them directly.
The pizza was honestly delicious. We all agreed that it was one of the best gluten-free pizzas that we’ve ever tried. Especially here in Florida. I must say there aren’t too many delicious pizzeria’s here-let alone gluten free pizza options. For gluten-free crust I must say it was absolutely tasty, came out crispy from the oven, super soft and fluffy, and was overall a great combination with the cheese. I went a little plain with my pizza – mozzarella and basil but the other two members of our group were a little bit more creative with their toppings and thoroughly enjoyed their creations. The basil pesto that you can see in the pictures was bomb ( this one was not gluten-free) and the mozzarella with peppers onions and mushrooms was quite delicious as well. In regard to the dessert- they marketed it as a “cannoli” but it’s more of like a cannoli Nutella pizza. I wouldn’t really call this an authenticauthentic cannoli. Although it wasn’t exactly what we wanted or expected, we gladly ate it. It’s also a great choice for people who want to opt for a gluten-free dessert as they were able to make the dough part of it gluten-free which was a cool add-on.
Overall- must say that we will be back whenever that pizza craving hits as its an amazing gluten free pizza option!
We got take out, 3 pizzas and 18 sweet chili wings/drums. Total cost with tax was $53.
Personally that’s pretty steep, keeping in mind your pizza can only have 3 toppings extra. Anything else will cost you $1-3 extra depending on what it is.
The wings are $18 for 10. And to me that a bit too steep price wise.
Pizzas are $11.95 for a personal size pie, or maybe it’s a tad bigger….but you only get to choose 3 other toppings other then your cheese, sauce and crust. And please note the don’t really have a “pizza sauce”, it’s actually San Marzano tomatoes ground up…..and the other options they have are Spicy Sauce, Pesto and white sauce I believe and some of those cost extra. So overall all those little extras add up fast.
Please be aware if your like me and you like things a little “well done”,well here as you can see, that means Burnt. Even the wings.
Overall the pizza and artisan dough was decent, sauce was tasteless, toppings were fine, the pesto is awful, and the wings were very tasty and cooked well (wings are baked here Not fried)
For the price and taste alone we probley won’t be retuning.
But if your a pizza lover and like to try new spots it’s always worth trying once, just leave out the well done unless your
Into that ash taste on your crust
