Hi! I wish I could have had a better experience. I worked at Pizza Ranch in Sioux Center for four years and had a hard time seeing no pizza, chicken, or salad bar up to date at 6:45pm on a Saturday night. There was a party that came in of about 20 people and there was absolutely no pizza or chicken ready to go for them, let alone the buffet wasn’t even ready to go for others. There were only two people that I witnessed working hard and it was the manager and the salad bar girl working. All buffets were dirty and had leftover food on the sides, no tables were being cleaned, and the ice cream machine had some type of solid liquid underneath that was not being cleaned up. I understand short-staffing, but that means the staff on-hand has to be working much harder. My husband and I paid 27.50 for an unsatisfactory meal and a dissapointing experience. Pizza Ranch is supposed to be a LEGENDARY experience and that was the complete opposite of what we experienced. Unfortunately it made me sad as I know the quality of a Pizza Ranch experience to be great for the guests.

Happy that they have added the hand sanitizer station! I avoid buffets because I see people lick their fingers then touch the tongs, sneeze in their hands, etc. Here’s to hoping those people use this station.
The food is always good. I did miss the potato wedges and chips on our last visit, but maybe they rotate them. The staff is always nice and that is something that I really appreciate.

The food was good if you could get any. The buffet did not have much food. For what I paid it was not worth it. The reason I gave them low rating is because It was not what it seemed. On the plus side the food had great taste but the buffet needs work.

Sam is a great manager the food is always great and the pizza is amazing. I look forward to going there about two to three times a week. I am so glad you brought the ice cream back it is the best. Sam is always running around making sure everything is perfect and when she is there everything taste good. It is always hot and fresh and we never have to wait for anything. With out Sam there I don’t think it would be as great as it is. She always makes us feel welcome and she always has a smile. Your really lucky to have Sam as a manager everything is PERFECT!!!

Dinner was great. I have worked in restaurants for years so I can be overly critical but my dinner was perfect. My child really likes their pizza and chicken legs. Pizza is good and selection is great. If they don’t have what you want for pizza toppings just ask. We had some many people trying to clear plates it was amazing. On the day we visited we had a manager stop by to make sure the visit was going the way it should. I have to been to many places and you just don’t have managers get involved like that now a days. I am terrible with names but his name was Nick? This place is great for a group and have other choices besides pizza.

Usually great service and food, tonight overcooked chicken, and no one cleaned plates from our table or any table during our visit. Only around 9 tables seated during our time so it wasn’t overly busy. On a good note the pizza buffet was fully stocked with hot delicious pizza and the salads were fresh.

Super horrible service. No staff. They were out of food except old burnt wings. Old pizza salad bar was nasty no dressing old withered lettuce. All the noodles were crusty and old. The sauce was burnt on. All the food areas were disgusting. The wife had to use the bathroom it was nasty she waited till we got home. Anything and everything that could be bad at a restaurant was this place. The worst experience ever. I hate McDonald’s with a passion but I would eat there before ever eating at pizza ranch again

We have been to this location multiple times and had good experiences. Today though, the only good thing I can say is the pizza tasted good. We walked in and there was only one person in front of us in line. By the time anyone rang us up, the line behind us was to the door—yes it took that long for someone to man the register. The salad bar and pizza bar was not serviced well. Salad bar had almost nothing on it. Pizza bar was fairly empty. Chicken was dry. Dessert bar never did get filled the entire time we were there so we finally left. Lastly when we sat down, I asked the server for napkins since the table dispenser was empty. She brought us a full napkin dispenser when we were getting ready to leave. Disappointing for sure…….
