Food was amazing. Burgers were cooked perfectly. The fries flavor and the crunch were amazing. Love the location and the staff were friendly and attentive. The place was clean and nice layout. First time here but will not be the last.

A very home syle family restaurant. The burger is not “5 guys greasy”. They are flavorful. The tots are crispy and the sweet potato fries are seasoned with a little kick. The hostess is down home friendly and the service is fast. Oh, and the banana pudding is a addition.

Let me tell you this is my first experience at Chubb Fathers. Let me preface this by I live in Inverness and have for the last 28 years. I own and operate my own business in Pelham at the end of 119 and 31. I’ve actually never had the opportunity to come down to Chubb Fathers.
I am in the Landscape business and my daughter had a career day and we went down to Green Valley Farms in Montevallo and both Maggie and I learned immense about their business and production. She’s very excited about it and enjoy the experience!
Also mind you she is 15 and drove my F350 from Inverness down to Montevallo .
I’ve listened to Talk 99.5 since it’s existence ( shout out to Leyland ) and learned of Will and Chubb Fathers and always wanted to visit down here, but never come down that far to alabaster.
My daughter and I visited the restaurant. Let me tell you I had the chubba burger and my daughter had the cheese kids burger. We were both thoroughly impressed and I could not even finish my burger 100%. It was very good and I definitely will be back, whenever I can figure out a time I’ll be down there! Service was amazing. All the staff was extremely friendly!
I would highly recommend Chubb Father!

My husband and I drive from Georgia to visit family and spotted our new favorite AL restaurant. Amazing experience from the service to the quick wait time to the taste. We visit Chubbs every chance we get. Today was our first time there for their new breakfast menu and I had to come review. We had the big pancake, the Double Oh 7, and the Corn beef hash and eggs. Y’all…Everything was so good. Pancakes were fluffy and had the little crisp to them on the edges. Perfection. Fried eggs were spot on. The star of the show was the corn beef hash and the most excellent sunnyside up eggs with the runny yolk. Goodness gracious it was slap your momma kinda yummy.
The best part is the folks that own and run the restaurant. Great people. Great service.

EXTREMELY RECOMMEND this Chub Father’s location! I truly love this location because of the environment, service, staff and food! The owner (Chub Father himself) has been at this location twice out of the 4 visits we’ve made here (it’s quite a drive from where we live). His presence really makes it worth the trips and so does the food! I’m telling you, for the quality and amount of the food you are receiving it matches their prices. So come on by make a visit to this location, and I promise, you’ll make this place a weekly must!

I don’t write reviews much, but I LOVED their Deluxe burger and I’m not even a burger girl, but it was amazing! I feel like it gave that “home cooked, grilled in the backyard” feel which I absolutely loved. I’m sure their other burgers are just as good and you should def try them!

The burgers are delicious! I had a curd burger and it was so filling and flavorful. I highly recommend it. The location is just right as it’s not in the middle of all the hubbub and has plenty of room inside. It looked like pickup orders are very popular, too. I believe it now. Great place for a nice tasty lunch.
